Private Violent pasts

The Sith had gone on his own campaigns since he had become independent of the others. Venturing forth by hijacking the ships of mercenaries or pirates mostly, but even civilian vessels were on the list. He'd command them, or he'd kill them, and expend their resources for his own means. Or until they were no longer useful. Naturally, he did not intend to leave witnesses of these crews if he decided to leave them. What a risk that could be without an army at his back. He might have been a lord, but he was not all powerful by any means.

Czerru walked the docks thinking about his next target. His saber was slightly obscured by his outfit, placed horizontally on the belt at his back. But the armorweave clothing on a Falleen man walking with pride hardly gave the impression of a normal citizen, at least not with this one. He was mostly looking for either a vessel where he could 'persuade' the captain to permit him aboard. And from there he'd take control. Or a smaller one, a fighter or a small freighter. Something he could simply use himself. Ideally with the captain on board still, he might need them to validate codes for awhile.

Ever since she had joined the New Jedi Order, Katherine had been primarily focused on her training. So much so, that there really wasn’t anything she considered a ‘secondary focus’. But as she gradually found her footing, grew more comfortable venturing out on her own, she settled on a new focus.

To explore the literal galaxy that was out there.

Of course, a lot of the initial time was learning how to actually fly a small ship. Something Katherine never imagined she’d learn. But then again, she had learned a lot of things she never expected to.

For the foreseeable future however, the majority of her flying would be assisted by an astromech droid. Taking full manual control was for emergencies only…unless she could convince the droid.

Note to self, learn how to understand Binary.

Her most recent destination was the planet Vortex, home of the Vors. They were a species that bore wings, but were mostly commonly known as having a distinct lack of emotions. Albeit, Katherine had landed to find something to eat for the most part. But she was admittedly a little interested to learn about their culture.

The winged Padawan’s mind was elsewhere as she walked through the starport, a heavy cloak wrapped around her. She didn’t notice until the last minute, and accidently ran into a Falleen. Not full on, but she managed to smack her shoulder into his side as she passed.

Sorry about that!” Katherine apologised, looking a little sheepish as she carried on. But the sudden movement in her turn sent her cloak flapping to the side, revealing the lightsaber hilt that was attached to her belt.

Czerru stopped as he felt someone run into him. Such carelessness! Pathetic. He thought angrily, something his face showed none of. Nor his skin change color. And then he realized in a moment what he just saw, A saber? He stared at her, a moment. Sith? Or an enemy, like jedi. He spoke up, his voice one completely devoid of the sound of any emotion, even if the words couldn't be easily mistaken to avoid it, "I see, the jedi are just as careless when walking as they are fighting tin-heads." he taunted. He knew the jedi had had struggles against mandalorians recently, suffered by their hands. If it was a jedi, he hoped that'd help rile them up. Among other things

As he spoke, he began to release a Falleen's natural Pheremones. Against a jedi, he doubted it'd matter much. It was simply an easy addition to bring greater emotion or distraction to anyone nearby. At the same time, he tried to reach at her mind. Tried to push an anger on her with the force,
"Such pathetic excuses for guardians." he again wasn't sure it'd work. But if this really was a jedi, he wasn't going to stop. They were a plague on this galaxy. Always upsetting the order of things for the sake of their light side. Always letting weakness in, then corruption so that it could all topple again. Claim for peace yet fight, but not enough. Czerru longed for Sith reign. He might not be able to force that into being himself, but he could perhaps at least upset the jedi order on his own. Killing one of their number would be a pleasure.
