SPECIAL FEATURES

• Songsteel makes the weapon both very light and highly resistant, especially to lightsaber/energy sources.
• Mono-molecular edge results in exceedingly sharp blade, capable of impressive cutting power, which doesn't dull.
• Internal magclamp components within handles allow for weapon to split with press of concealed activator.

DESCRIPTION
A personal weapon of the Sovereign Protector known as Vindicator, the Mono-molecular Chakram is a favorite of the guardsman for use in close-quarters combat. Made of extremely durable songsteel, the chakram is lightweight and incredibly resistant to lightsaber and energy sources. Combined with an exceedingly sharp mono-molecular edge, the slicing potential of the weapon is very high. The chakram is able to function in two states - as a whole piece, able to be thrown, or as a split pair of dagger-like weapons. The alloy handles contain magclamp components, including a concealed activator, which allows transition between both states. Yet, being a primarily slicing-based weapon, the chakram is unfortunately limited in stabbing capabilities, including when thrown as penetration of thicker armors is less likely...
