• Exploration Frigate: The Vilia Calimondra is a highly advanced exploration vessel, designed for navigating the furthest reaches of the Unknown Regions, including the investigation and discovery of previously unknown star systems. To achieve these ends, the frigate is equipped with a wide variety of state-of-the-art sensory and communications features. These include the ability to detect astronomical objects and technological anomalies (including other starships) to a very accurate degree. Additionally, the frigate comes equipped with a path-capable 0.5 hyperdrive, configured with advanced features, including an N-CRAB and HIMS module.
  
  
• Stealth Suite: Exploring the unknown means assuming unknown risks - including hostile starships, fleets, and battle stations. To safeguard the frigate from detection, the Vilia Calimondra comes equipped with advanced electronic countermeasures, a DER projector, and a transponder mask. DESCRIPTION

Named for the Sith Lord who lived during the Republic Dark Age, the Vilia Calimondra is Anet Raine’s personal frigate for exploring the Unknown Regions in search of secrets that might advance her power and the Sith Covenant’s cause. With no expenses spared, the frigate was designed by a bespoke team of highly regarded engineers at Hydian-Wyl and manufactured by Fondor Shipyards.

Everything about the star vessel’s design is very intentional. From its internal amenities and configuration to its suite of advanced systems and formidable defenses. The core of the Vilia Calimondra’s brilliance rests in a combination of its best-in-class hyperdrive and cutting-edge sensory array. The starship can traverse regions of space otherwise too dangerous for ordinary exploration vessels, and scan whole systems with ruthless efficiency. What might take a prospector months (or even years) to explore might take the Vilia Calimondra a matter of days or weeks, depending on the complexity of a star system and its present anomalies.

Because the vessel is expected to be away for long periods of time, it is also designed to be a home away from home. The internal atmosphere of the ship is delightful - with entire rooms and chambers equipped with dynamic lighting and finely-tuned climate controls to mimic a more natural environment. The living areas include private suites, guest rooms, a spa, and even a botanical garden for pleasure and the cultivation of floral delicacies. It is quite secure, too. There are privacy measures and internal security systems to foil spies, stowaways, and trespassers. A combination of ray shields, blast doors, and auto-turrets even safeguard the ship from invasion should such a worst-case scenario occur.

The frigate is both armed and features a sizable hangar which runs port-to-starboard, large enough to house two full squadrons of small craft. The batteries on the Vilia Calimondra are superior to your usual line frigate, providing it the ability to “punch up” against cruisers and light star destroyers if necessary. If that isn’t enough, a combination of advanced shield generators and durable armor can protect the frigate from heavy fire long enough to make its escape. Of course, all of these should be unnecessary as long as the frigate’s stealth systems hold.
