Description: When his cousin returned from training with the Jedi, she brought many learned abilities with her, and much knowledge. She also brought a lightsaber. Viho was fascinated with this weapon, but found he could not wield it because it lacked weight. Still, Satara brought the knowledge of the galaxy and Force Users with her, and explained to him that there were many beings in the galaxy that used a similar weapon to that one. Viho found that he was somewhat afraid of the weapon, as it would pose a threat to his mate and to his family if wielded by an outside source.

Posing to her questions on weapons that could resist it, Satara told him of materials capable of resisting a lightsaber, but these were non-existent on Dathomir, forcing him to ask her about other techniques. Through learning of her own, an ancient technique was drudged up from the past to imbue a blade with the Force. The technique was simple. By forging high-carbon steel and combining it with a Crystal, Satara used the magic she knew, and the technique from the past, to meld the steel and crystal into one. The blades so not glow or show any sign of being anything but simple weapons, but a test of them revealed that they were resistant to lightsabers.

This does not make the weapons immune to the Force. They can still be damaged as well. A strike from a lightsaber reacts the same as a strike from any other blade, causing wear. Over time the blades will dull, and if not cared for could break. Much like any bladed weapon, they are subject to the same laws. Where a lightsaber will likely never break, these weapons do still have that potential, even in combat at the weapons prime the possibility is there. Because of the nature of the weapons being Force imbued, Satara must be present for them to be mended as well.

(Information on the technique came from here. There is also information saying that it is possible for Witches to imbue blades with the Force, though the depth of it is somewhat sketchy, which is why I relied some on my Cousin's Jedi background.)
