The cold breezes on Naboo brushed against Colette's skin sending shivers down her spine. She cradled the canteen of water in her hands and let out a long sigh as she glanced out across the wide open lakes beyond the balustrades.

She had been here only once before, but this time it was more for personal reasons. With all that had happened she needed a break to unwind before she hopped back into the way of things again. Tython was gone, and so was Coruscant. As far as places she knew to be safe went, those were one and a half struck from an already rather small list.

Perhaps worse in her mind was the simple fact that the path before her wasn't quite as hidden as the one sprawled before the rest of her friends. While Colette admired their conviction it wasn't one that she necessarily felt mirrored her own.

So, she thumbed her canteen and took a swig of water before she hooked it back on her belt and leaned in against the railing in front of her. Some part of her hoped that someone interesting would pass by to offer advice, the other wasn't quite sure what it wanted right now.

She turned around to look to her right and then her left, and what she saw was…

Was a rancor in black yoga pants, or the closets thing to it...

Tibera was had just finished a jog, something she only want to do when she had downtime. Her short white hair was masked by a ball cap, and her top was just a ragged gray number that was sticking to her from sweat.

She hated doing cardio, and especially on a hot and muggy Naboo summer day. The sooner she could get to some air conditioning the better. The small area that her and Colette occupied was a perfect spot to grab some water and take a load off.

She sipped a bottle of water, looking at the young lady with the two-tone hair. They certainly had some things in common, both were pretty strong women, and both probably had no real place to be right now. One thing scratched at the back of her mind. She couldn't place it, but there was something familiar about this person. Maybe it was her face, maybe it was just how she carried herself, either way, it wasn't going anywhere.

"Hey stranger, mind if I sit here? I gotta get off my feet for a while..."

There was a little bit of an awkward silence, she never knew how to handle strangers when it came to conversations. Was she supposed to sit quietly, or was it better to just you use her datapad?

Figuring that Colette was not going to bite, she stood up. The old balustrade creaked a bit as she leaned forward.

"Gotta say, for all the grief I give Naboo, there's some of the prettiest water in the galaxy around here. I'm just glad this planet is at peace right now, not like The Core. Hard to enjoy a nice view with Big Empire and The Jackboots stomping around."

Tibera trailed off, thinking of her time fighting on the side of Imperials. The time she'd spent fighting on Tython for The Dark Empire...

Hot and muggy or not, it was just 'Naboo weather' to Colette. She rolled her shoulders for a moment, put a hand through her hair to reveal that the two-tonedness of her hair was more an illusion of the bright light from the nearby lamppost.

"Of course." Colette said and nodded at the stranger who proceeded to take a seat.

And then they stood up again, engaged in further conversation. Colette continued to nod along as the white-haired woman spoke. She understood 'Big Empire' but the terms 'jackboot' was completely lost on her.

"Almost makes you wonder what the idiots following the Imperials were thinking, huh?" Colette said and rubbed her hand against the back of her neck. "Brainwashed fools. Taught to not see that the power is in their hands."

"I want to feel sorry for them, but…" Colette sighed once more. "Well, we are all responsible for our actions."
