DESCRIPTION
Like its predecessor from which its name is derived, the Victoria serves as a powerful gun platform capable of supporting larger vessels or acting independently. Designed for planetary defense, assault, fleet support, and escort, the Victoria-Class Star Destroyer is a rugged all-rounder meant to appeal to planetary governments and burgeoning fleets alike.

During engagements, the Victoria focuses on delivering devastating main battery fire, either focusing all guns forward, or in a heavy broadside that allows the heavy cruiser to perform a defensive roll to bring fresh shields to bear. Unlike its predecessor, crew requirements were cut down to much more manageable levels, and reducing secondary costs such as training, supply, and crew compensation. Lower crew counts also allowed for expanded passenger capacity and cargo holds, extending deployment times and allowing the ship to act as a highly armed freighter if absolutely necessary.

In line with Outer Rim Resource's ship design philosophy, the Victoria-Class Star Destroyer was built to be a reliable heavy cruiser with low upkeep requirements while maintaining functionality and flexibility. So while not a stand-out in the industry, it provides a lower-cost entry point in both commander skill and credit cost while allowing a capable captain enough flexibility to shine.
