BIOGRAPHY:

Disclaimer: Details of past crimes/immoral acts are kept vague, however still wrong and not meant to offend any readers. The story below is intended to develop the basis from which Victor Carmine grows up to become a Sociopath, mentally unfit and a homicidal figure in Galactic Society. In no way do I condone such behaviour.

The Death of Innocence.
Born on the World Corellia to Camille Verah (Mother), and Anthony Carmine (Father), Victor was raised in a low socio-economic region of Coronet City, the World's Capital. Despite their financial hardships and Father working two jobs while his mother took care of the home and neighbourhood friends, their community was close-knit and often having to help provide for one another out of support during harsh times.

Victors early school years were spent being picked on by other children due to his families reputation for being poor and looking thin, verging on malnourished. It would be during these years that he would begin to develop anti-social behaviour and often lash out at those closest to him (namely his family) in a bid to vent and express his feelings. The teasing would only escalate over time, escalating into regular fighting both in and out of school, outnumbered and made to feel inferior to the other kids.

Life outside of schooling seemed to prove no better, Victor struggling to make any friends and proving to be quiet and further withdrawing from his family and society in general. Most of his personal time would be spent in his room, or out wandering the streets alone. Lonely, angry and not understanding why his life was so cruel, he began to lash out violently at smaller, weaker creatures such as birds or local animals, keeping this terrible new habit away from the eyes and awareness of others.

The first time he would take a life, his victim would be a household pet. Victor would discover the complete absence of guilt or remorse. It was an act he knew to be wrong, yet still, he felt nothing...The importance of life and death, the meaning of compassion and guilt, none of it called to him as society had taught him.

Escalation:
One awful day while walking home from school, Victors' bullies had decided to follow him and teach him a lesson. They had singled him out for being not only from a poor family but also due to his 'difference' to what they perceived to be normal children. The truth was that Victor was an unusual boy with anti-social tendencies, but as children, they did not understand that these were aspects of a blooming mental illness and instead used these odd behaviours as a reason to tease and harm him.

By this stage in his school life, Victor had learned that he was never going to stop being bullied and so after a particularly long and hard week, he had made the decision to bring a knife with him from home. It wasn't his intention to use it on anyone, but simply having it had given the young boy a reason to feel a little safer and more confident. It was a simple need for comfort that he wished to be able to live out his day with some sort of means to defend himself...-But when surrounded by the group of bullies after school hours, the intention was born from helplessness and anger, desperation and finally being pushed too far.

The fight began in an alley and would end in the public street when one of the boys took the blade to the stomach and Victor turned upon another, slashing and deeply cutting their arm. The bullies all screamed and ran in fear, calling the attention of passerby's to witness Victor and the bloodied knife in his hand, standing over one of the victims.

Credits & Shame:
Victor's arrest had been plastered over the national media and the neighbourhood all learned of what the boy had done. Soon there were stories that assumed much about his mental status and soon put the spotlight on the family and the boys upbringing. The legal system was an added expense that bled the families finances. Victors' Mother who loved her boy soon fell into depression and neurosis during the legal trial, his Father resorting to an unhealthy amount of drinking, leading to sporadic outbursts of anger and resentment towards their Son. Victor, the boy who was misunderstood and needed serious professional help, had now managed to disappoint and lose the love of the only people that he had ever felt truly cared for him.

Standing before a court of law, Victor Carmine would be convicted of manslaughter for the boy who had died of his wounds following the fight. The family had buried themselves financially in order to pay for his legal representation, yet the boys' guilt was certain due to the number of witnesses who had come forward to testify against his guilt. The process had taken almost a year before a verdict was handed down and the boy sentenced to serve time in juvenile detention. As the proceedings ended and Victor was taken into custody once more, he looked to his parents for help; His mother could not look back at him, and his father glared with an intense resentment that cut as deeply as the knife had to his victim.

The first month of his time in incarceration would be the most difficult of his life, not due to those also imprisoned with him and their same violent tendencies as the bullies he had grown up with in school, but specifically, the news of his Mother's suicide that had been reported on the local media in relation to Victor's trial, the stress and reported shame of being associated with such a tragedy. There would be no word from his father, no letters, no news for the entirety of his sentence in juvenile prison.

The Institution:
Victor Carmine's prison sentence would be gradually extended over a number of years due to increasingly violent incidents within. During his first year, Victor was targeted by many prisoners new to being one of the newest entrants and being seen as weak and unproven. In a need to have some form of insurance that he would not be killed, Victor sought the protection of one of the prison gangs, becoming a prospect and having to prove his worth by taking on requests by the older members. It was during this time that his flare for the ruthless and dramatic, would be discovered by one of the lieutenants of the Cavaliers, the group Victor had joined.

The Cavaliers were no family, and Victor did not like any of the other members but merely did what he had to do to survive being inside. Numerous times he was tasked with starting fights with opposing gang members and often times these fights were unwinnable. Still, he did as he was told and more often than not he would smile afterwards no matter how bloodied and broken he was. Over time he began to get a reputation for being a masochist and a lover of pain, as though he did not seem to hold his own safety high in his priorities.
