Viceroyalty

The planet of Cato Neimoidia, a beautiful planet yet under its new leader's brand new administration lacked any diplomatic ties with other planets. Viceroy Herr Vanderhing the Prime Minister of Pure Neimoidia and the Neimoidian Purses planned to change this, so he sent word via a goodwill ambassador to the lush planet of Naboo that he wished for a member of their royal family to attend a Trade Federation dinner party in their honor to improve relations. The Neimoidian Good-will Ambassador arrived on the planet's surface in a Neimoidian shuttle he presented a gift of a large beautiful exotic bird native to Cato Neimoidia and a handwritten invitation to come to Vanderhing's palace

To the royal house on Naboo,

Good evening, I would be humbled to have one of your own come to my Palace on Cato Neimoidia to attend a small Trade Federation dinner party so as to improve diplomatic relations with our planets.... It would be a great honor to have you attend such an event and the feast will be in Naboo's honor

Signed,
Viceroy Herr Vanderhing Prime Minister and Trade Father of the Neimoidian Trade Monarchy

A simple comm sent by the office of the crown of Naboo would find its' way to the Viceroy in short order.

Viceroy Herr Vanderhing,

On behalf of the king and his people, I would be pleased to accept your invitation. In times such as these, sovereign worlds such as ours should seek to expand our reach to our neighbors for continued support, both economically and diplomatically. Despite the fall of the One Sith, other threats to our freedom and security continue to rise and batter against our doorsteps. I look forward to our meeting.

The Viceroy heard the comm and became excited, he had big plans that were being set into motion, and one of them may require this meeting. In all honesty the Viceroy didn't know much about Naboo, only that the Neimoidians still held a grudge because of Naboo's involvement with the collapse of the Trade Federation. If he was to be honest with himself, he held the same grudge, despite the centuries that go by the Neimoidians have still merely toiled in mediocrity and if they hadn't blamed the Republic, they blamed Naboo, or Jedi, or Sith, now humans in general. But Vanderhing knew, he needed to cooperate with the many other threats worrying the leering around every corner. Sure, no one seemed interested in gobbling up the Neimoidian worlds yet, luckily.... But he still required 'friends' and partners in the galaxy. So his servants all readied his palace for the important guest. The palace was large and intricate, the rugs were bright red with leaflike designs etched into them, the walls were filled to the brim with never ending portraits of Vanderhing. The portraits stared stoically down at the guests almost creepily. The ceilings had bird swings hanging from above with large colorful and vibrant pets pecking into their feathers or chirping merrily. As the guests arrived one by one they were all Neimoidian except for the most important guest who would be the only human to have arrived at the dinner. Vanderhing had a strong distaste for many things, humans were one of them though he concealed this fact behind layers upon layers of false politeness and sycophancy. As the Neimoidian guests arrived Vanderhing glared at everyone of them, he loathed them all but was forced to hide it. They were all just officers and high ranking officials Vanderhing was forced to put up with to give the people a false sense of democracy. His planet wasn't at all a democracy, it was a Plutocratic dictatorship and he loved it!! But still, he was forced to put up all the annoying bootlickers he wished to execute. A seemingly permanen scowl plastered upon his face, he stood in the middle of the small party with his advisor Genf Orkay by his side, several of the bootlickers kept trying to talk to him, but he wished only to speak to his more important guest......
