SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Five Modes of Operation [Standard, Sniper, Grenadier, Disruptor, and Stun] enable uncanny versatility to allow operators to tailor the weapon’s performance to any of a wide range of mission types, conditions, and situations.
  • Rugged design allows use amid virtually environment or environmental conditions; resistant to moisture, extreme temperatures, dust/debris, pressure, and more, allowing to operate even underwater. Shock-resistant materials enable the weapon to survive exceptionally rough treatment.
  • Included scope allows for lowlight and night vision, thermal, infrared, and ultrasonic imaging, and image-enhancing technology enabling viewing even through dense fog, mist, smoke, and gas. Provides operators with detailed information containing a target’s range, relative and true azimuths, elevation, and even speed, direction, species, size, or vehicle-type and vulnerabilities (if known). Can be remotely used via encrypted connectivity to battle helmets/armors.
  • Integrated noise inhibitor and other stealth/countermeasure materials and technologies prevent the weapon from being easily detected when firing or from appearing to even lesser military-grade weapons detectors and other sensors.
  • Special biometric security prevents use by anyone other than the weapon’s owner (and up to two other authorized users).
  • Adjustable stock permits the weapon’s size and profile be adjusted for environment, while ergonomic design allows comfortable, secure control over the weapon thereby increasing both accuracy and ease of movement.
  • Grenadier mode allows ‘supercharged’ fire to be used with impressive damage against vehicles, heavy battle armor, etc.
  • Non-lethal stun mode can incapacitate beings and creatures up to 3m in height/length.
  • Sniper mode allows precision strikes against long-range targets with extreme stopping power.
  • Integrated capacity meter allows at-a-glance assessment of remaining rounds available in every mode.
STRENGTHS
  • Options May Vary: Multi-mode select fire enables an uncanny versatility of types of fire available, enabling operators to tailor their weapon’s performance to a wide-range of mission types and needs.
  • Hits Like a Rancor: In every mode, save Stun, the Vexis is capable of dealing extreme damage against its targets, with the Grenadier mode able to have considerable effect on even vehicles and other larger-sized targets.
  • Built VisTech Tough: The Vexis rifle is able to continue functioning over prolonged periods and amid the most rugged, hostile, and challenging conditions imaginable with near-flawless reliability and performance.
WEAKNESSES
  • Careful: Grenadier mode can shorten the lifetime of the gas canister to just 1% of its standard capacity, just as Sniper mode cuts the usual capacity in half. Reckless use of either mode can cause the weapon’s gas canister to become depleted faster – a terrible outcome for a soldier in the midst of battle.
  • Just So Far: The Stun mode of this weapon is only useful against beings and creatures up to 3m in height or length, making it unlikely to be of use against anything larger. So, it’s likely best that if you’re going out in krayt dragon territory, you’re gonna need a bigger gun.
  • I Said Careful: Grenadier mode is essentially supercharging the weapon’s next round, and firing too close places both the enemy and the operator (and anyone with her) inside the area of effect, greatly elevating the risk of having what experts call “…a horrible, no-good, very bad day!”
  • Local Laws May Differ: Using the Disruptor mode, in most civilized systems, worlds, and nations is more or less a very serious ‘war crime’ and misjudging the when and where to do so if a sure ticket to a wanted holo with your likeness on it and an unfortunately antagonistic new relationship with law enforcement to follow.
  • You Must Be This Tall to Ride This Ride: The Vexis is a heavy weapon, designed to be used by average or larger-sized humanoid species, and just is not suited for use by small-statured species and beings, or by any non-humanoid species.
DESCRIPTION
For those who know her, the notion that Visanj is fond of going to extremes shouldn’t come as a shock. In life, love, war, and well, everything else, she rarely uses restraint or modesty. So, when Vis builds a battle rifle, one shouldn’t be shocked that it will be something more than standard.
The Vexis rifle is incredibly powerful, accurate, versatile, and exceptionally resilient. Able to minimize detection through stealth technologies and materials, making it almost impossible to be found through weapons detectors, silenced firing in any mode, and shielded from giving off the kind of heat signatures that are easily traced, the Vexis is ideally-suited for clandestine missions and covert operations. Its potent stopping power coupled with its multi-mode performance are enhanced by the presence of a powerful and advanced multi-optic scope with integrated electro-monocular capability and a built-in rangefinder, all of which can be linked via encrypted signal to computers and vision systems like those found in advanced powered armors and helmets. In the hands of a skilled marksman, this weapon is a game-changer able to conform and perform within a variety of conditions and situations.
Operators must be mindful of the modes they’re using and exactly when, where, and how often they use them. Using the Grenadier or Sniper mode can deplete the weapon’s gas canister more quickly, while using the Disruptor mode can open one up to any number of criminal liabilities. Likewise, using the Stun Mode on larger-sized beings and creatures will most-likely prove fruitless. Similarly, using the Grenadier mode too closely exposes the operator to become vulnerable to the effects, same as one’s target. Biometric security prevents the weapon from being stolen or used by any unauthorized users, so it behooves operators using the same weapon to double-check that they have grabbed the correct rifle.

Very nice weapon, I really love the multi-mode function! I have 2 remarks:
  • The stun mode is underpowered (-2), however I suppose this is intentional.
  • The other error is the Ammunition Capacity's ratings. You wrote High and Very High. In this case these are Large and Very Large please fix it.
