Private Veterinary Residency

A large Tof girl was hunched over in the courtyard near one of the temple entrances.

At first glance, perhaps she looked injured—but the Padawan wasn't holding herself in a manner that indicated pain. Instead, her hulking form was crouched above a wounded baby sparrow, green hands cradling the bird's fragile body as delicately as she could.

Rosa squinted up and around, trying to scan the ledges of the temple and the trees lining the walkway to see if there was a nest.

The sparrow let out a feeble chirp, drawing Rosa's attention back down to the little bird resting in the palm of her hand. His wing was broken.

"Shhh…" She tried to soothe, voice dipping low in broken Basic. "You be...ah, to help. Helped?"

It was rare to see pain and worry in the colors. Iris found herself following them with worry in her heart, at least until she saw it's source. The dread and panic building in the back of her mind of a scene she didn't want to witness again left all at once as she caught sight of Rosa. The panic was hers, but the pain wasn't. Something in her hands? Ah. Relief washed over the Knight as she kept her distance. It was just a bird, and they weren't dying.

She stepped over, calmly, watching both the Padawan and the bird.

"It won't understand your words, but it will understand your intentions. So be open and let it know you want to help."
