Srengths and Weaknesses (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Charismatic: Vespasian is a skilled speaker, making equally use of his good look as of his rhetorical capabilities. A winning smile, a sarcastic nature and a comrade-like behaviour make him a very appealing person. Though not only on the civil and casual scene he knows how to make friends, but also politically and how to inspire people. A few well phrased sentences or compliments here and there usually helped to prevent a confrontation or encourage his followers to their ultimate best.

Warmaster: Commanding appears to be a natural born skill. If a battalion in the dirt, a fleet among the stars or both, Vespasian knows what to do, when to do it and how to do it. A masterful strategist his campaigning ability outmaneouvres, surprises and therefore defeats his opponents when he wants it. In battle itself, his tactical overview and understanding, he stands as a challenge for every opponent. Aided by his charismatic nature, Vespasian has a sense for details, especially for people under his command - being able to deploy and offer everyone to use their skills as best as they can.

Poor fighter: Vespasian himself is neither a skilled gunman nor a formidable bladesman, he was trained - and survived, but did never seek personal engagement or improvement in it.

Migraine: He suffers from heavy migraine from time to time, basically making unsconscious. The smallest lamp burns like a sun, the most distant noise echoes like bells, every movement of the body hurts and increases the headache.

Zealot: Vespasian the Elder lives and dies for his ideals and principles. There is nothing one can try to convince him of the opposite or to accept a point which speaks against them. Loyalty means everything to him, not necessarily being loyal to a cause or oath, but to ones personal views. Contradicting he sees every betrayal against him as a personal insult and offence of his views. This fanatical attitude does equally appeal allies and equal minds as it scares off and offends enemies.

Appearance:
Vespasian the Elder is a good looking man in his forties. No outlining features of his body can be noted, he is slightly ahteletic, but of a normal built. His most notable feature is his smile, which he makes use of when supporting a joke or attempting to easen a situation. The black hair is kept well maintained and the blue eyes have a sky-like colouring, making them equally bright as welcoming.

Usually seen in his yellow and black uniform, he privately wears a variety of suits. Additional items or gear include a ring with decrypting mechanics, a watch, a service blaster (GR-9 Plasma), a picture of his family.

Biography:
Born on Coruscant in the house of his family, Vespasian was born into a society of merchants, well-off, but still hard working. Meant to get an equal education, he decided differently and forfeit his heritage equally as his family when he was fourteen. Taking money and a ship he moved to join the rebuilt Caridan Military Academy. First considered to be too old and not capable of keeping up with other students, as well as despised for his heritage, Vespasian offered to test him and to pay with all the money he had as well as with the ship he came with to be accepted.

The directors agreed to test him. Placed in a wargame with the best students of his year he was meant to show his skills - or in his case, his talents. The wargame lastest a week before the directors decided to stop it. Non of the more educated students could defeat him, but neither could he dominate their handling of logistics and further background knowledge (technical, physical, historical). The directors agreed to accept him.

Recieving the summa cum laudae when graduating as best of his year and proclaimed best since the academy re-opened, he was now 20. The rebuilding galaxy offered many opportunities for a skilled commander, yet he was inexperienced. Instead of heading to the next government and pledging his allegiance, he decided to go back to his family which he hadn´t contacted the past years. Surprised by his return, he was welcomed, ignoring what had happened.

The following years Vespasian worked within the families trade network, incrasing the profits and building up a protective force for the freighters and traders. He chose the captains and crews himself, dealt with every application and interview on his own and build up, together with his parents who had the economical skills, a running and prospering trade organisation. Years passed by, the young man growing a man, in age and experience, fighting pirates, smugglers and scum alike.

At the age of 31, Vespasian married Alizebeth, his wife still. Today they have two children, Vespasian, called 'the Younger' and Anna.

Due to the conflicts increasing inside the core regions, the family shifted its business seat to the homeworld of the Dorn family, Ord Mantell. As soon as his father died and Vespasian took charge of the family business, he aspired higher spheres. Dominating the trade hubs of Dorin and Ord Mantell, Vespasian seeked the rulership of Ord Mantell. His reputation equal to his commercial and military power by now, the Dorn company had a considerable protective fleet.
