Private Verses of Valor and Void

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

Blades in the silence,
Clashing 'neath pale stars,

Like echoes of spirits,
Wandering from afar.

Steel-sister, steel-brother,
Bind your soul to mine.
Through trials and through battles,
Our fates forever twine.

Whispers in the white halls,
Legacies passed down,
A dance of swift shadows,
Beneath the silver crown.

Heart-bound warrior,
Stride beside me true.
Through storms and through calm,
I will stand with you.

Stars above our battles,
Reforging what we knew,
Spirits of the fallen,
Gone too soon, we rue.

Candles in the darkness,
Flickering and few,
Guiding us through shadows,
Steadfast, strong, and true.

Overwhelm the enemy,
Let the thunder roll,
Outwit the adversaries,
Take their very soul.
Overtake the challenges,
With fire in our veins,
Outlast the trials,
Break free from the chains.

Steel meets steel, we stand as one,
Under blood-red skies, until the battle's won.

Crush the foe, let them fall,
Victory's call, we heed it all.
With iron will, we break the night,
Onward we march, into the fight.

Overcome the hardships,
With scars we wear with pride,
Outlive the storm,
With battle cries that guide.
Outmatch the impossible,
No fear, no retreat,
Strike down the darkness,
Hear the drums' beat.

Blades in hand, hearts of flame,
In this war, we'll carve our name.

Crush the foe, let them fall,
Victory's call, we heed it all.
With iron will, we break the night,
Onward we march, into the fight.

In the clash of swords, in the roar of war,
We stand defiant, we'll rise once more.
With the strength of lions, the courage of kings,
We shatter their ranks, as our battle song rings.

Crush the foe, let them fall,
Victory's call, we heed it all.
With iron will, we break the night,
Onward we march, into the fight.

Outlast the storm, outmatch the night,
We are the warriors, born to fight.

Underneath the battle's crimson sky,
Where the echoes of war rise high,
I dream of you, my guiding star,
Though the distance stretches far.
Four long years on fields of strife,
Still your voice, my dearest wife,
Whispers softly through the night,
Bringing warmth to darkest fight.

Oh, my love, though miles apart,
Your spirit lives within my heart,
Through the storm and through the pain,
In my soul, you'll always reign.
Hold me close, though I'm away,
In our dreams, we'll meet each day,
Faithful heart, I'll fight on true,
'Til the war is through, back to you.

In the silence before dawn's light,
When the world is still, and right,
I see your smile, your gentle grace,
In every star, I find your face.
Armor heavy, sword in hand,
For our land, I take my stand,
But it's your love that keeps me strong,
Through the nights so cold and long.

Oh, my love, though miles apart,
Your spirit lives within my heart,
Through the storm and through the pain,
In my soul, you'll always reign.
Hold me close, though I'm away,
In our dreams, we'll meet each day,
Faithful heart, I'll fight on true,
'Til the war is through, back to you.

Promises we made, I keep,
In the fields where shadows seep,
For every tear and every scar,
I'll return, no matter how far.
Beneath the moon, I feel your touch,
Missing you, oh, so much,
In this heart, our vows do bind,
Soon, my love, soon you'll find.

Oh, my love, though miles apart,
Your spirit lives within my heart,
Through the storm and through the pain,
In my soul, you'll always reign.
Hold me close, though I'm away,
In our dreams, we'll meet each day,
Faithful heart, I'll fight on true,
'Til the war is through, back to you.

'Til the war is through, back to you,
My love, my heart, forever true,
'Til the war is through, back to you,
In your arms, I'll find home anew.

Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"

I remember the day when the shadows fell,
The light in your eyes turned cold as hell.
But when the darkness took you, it left nothing but spite inside,
You were my student, my hope, my pride.
Now I'm haunted by the ghosts of what was lost,
A battle that rages, no matter the cost.

I can still hear your voice, calling from the abyss,
But I can't follow you there, though it tears me to this.
My heart burns with fury, a fire so bright,
But I must hold on, I must guard the light.

Eclipsed light, fighting the night,
Holding back the storm inside.
In the shadows, I stand alone,
But the light in my soul, it's never gone.
Eclipsed light, burning so bright,
Haunted by the darkness, that I must fight.
In the echoes of your fall, I find my way,
To keep the light alive, though the night calls my name astray.

The memories linger, a wound that won't heal,
Your fall from grace, it's all too real.
But now my rage shall never cease,
I taught you strength, I taught you peace.
I stand on the edge, where darkness lies,
With every step, I hear your cries.

The anger it rises as a maelstrom in my chest,
But I must stay calm, and put my will to rest.
For if I give in, if I fall from grace,
The light in my soul will be forever erased.

Eclipsed light, fighting the night,
Holding back the storm inside.
In the shadows, I stand alone,
But the light in my soul, it's never gone.
Eclipsed light, burning so bright,
Haunted by the darkness, that I must fight.
In the echoes of your fall, I find my way,
To keep the light alive, though the night calls my name astray.

I'm torn apart by love and pain,
The student I lost, the darkness you gained.
But I can't let go, I can't let you win,
For if I fall, the night will begin.
So I stand my ground, with fury and fire,
But I channel it right, I lift it higher.
For though you are gone, I must stay strong,
The light in my heart, it will carry on.

Eclipsed light, fighting the night,
Holding back the storm inside.
In the shadows, I stand alone,
But the light in my soul, it's never gone.
Eclipsed light, burning so bright,
Haunted by the darkness, that I must fight.
In the echoes of your fall, I find my way,
To keep the light alive, though the night calls my name astray.

The light won't die, though the darkness creeps,
I'll guard it with fury, in my soul it sleeps.
For though I'm eclipsed, I'll never fade,
The light in me, it's forever made.

A Wildflower in Winter

It stood where plow and furrow lost their say,
Half-buried in the drift along the fence,
T
'was but a scrap of color in a field of gray
That winter kept in patient governance.
No foot had crossed that pasture since the thaw;
The brook lay sealed beneath its pane of glass,
An
d would not let it's winter whispers pass.

I might have missed it, had I not once more
L
ooked back to mark the boundary of the land,
F
or there it was, close by the splintered post,
A slender stem that against cold could hardly stand.

It was no rose that summer hands would prize,
N
or garden bloom with careful tending grown;
It
asked no favor of indulgent sunny skies
And
made the frozen acre seem less lone.

The wind bent low to test it where it grew;
I
t bowed, but did not yield its bit of fame.
The frost had edged its petals hard with dew,
Yet still it held, unchanged in hue and aim.

I left it there, that small, unbidden guest,
T
o keep its quiet argument with snow;
For some things do not flourish at their best
In
kindly seasons, save when cold winds blow

Bright Idea

No shadow cast shall shake the line I stand,
No whispered dark shall turn my guided hand.

Through doubt and fear my steady will is kept,
For vows I take where lesser hearts have slept.

Let corruption tremble where my aim is led;
Let hidden night give way where Light is shed.

B
urn what is false, unravel what is chained,
Leave only truth where false dominion reigned.

Firelight shaped by will and trembling breath
I
draw thee forth, my inner Light made death.

The stars are very beautiful beyond the Temple's walls,
They shine with equal splendor still above forgotten halls.
I
watch them from the shadows where the Temple's light won't go,
They remind me of the freedom I gave up so long ago.
T
he crystal blade I carried once burned brightly in my hand,
I
once thought only of the cause, the Code, and the Jedi's stand.
But once I too
k the trials, and stood where the Masters led,
I
found the weight heavy upon the heart, though light with the hand.
Althou
gh I bore a saber bright, its light could not give peace
The
true Knight shields the helpless first before he breaks to feast.
The
true Knight
keeps the people safe before he takes his rest,
Thinks twice and thrice and
yet again before he strikes at best.
For
they
were all my brethren, all, whom I swore to defend,
It was my duty to be both
protector and their friend—
A
nd of m
y brethren high and low, from Padawan to Knight,
Th
e dearest were
the ones who stayed when darkness claimed the fight.
The dearest
were the ones who stood beside me to the end,
Who gave
me aid and fellowship when none would call me friend.
They knew the
Order first had needs that I could not deny
A
nd so I watc
hed them fall away, to darkness or to die.
A
friend
, a love, a child—it mattered not; I knew indeed
That
I would lose them all in time if there should be the need.
The
y knew and they forgave me,
doing more than I required,
With
willing minds and steady hearts went straight into
the fire.
These tears that burn my eyes are all
the tears I cannot shed,
The
tears I weep in silence
for the fallen and the dead.
Oh
Force that flows beyond the stars, if you can
hear my cry—
An
d if you have compassion—Let me see no more go to
die

Oh, so you're new here? At least that's what they say,
Wel
l, listen up, and I'll show you how to play.
You thought it'd be easy, thought you'd run the show?
But this is my turf, and there's a lot to know!
Pla
ytime's over, and it's time to get rough,
If
you can't keep up, well then, that's just tough!
You've heard the legends, seen the scars? They're real,
In
this world, if you don't bend, you might just kneel.

(Pre-Chorus)
You
're stepping into my dojo now, let's see if you're tough,
I'l
l push you hard—let's see if it's enough.
Fo
llow my lead, 'cause in here, I call the shots,
Fa
ll behind, and trust me, you'll pay the cost.
I'll teach you the ropes, but first, you better bow,
Pay attention, listen up, these are my rules now.
I'll show you the way, but first, fall in line,
Yo
u'll get the hang of it, but it may take some time.

(Chorus)
Welcome to my playground, this is where fun begins,
B
etter keep it up, or you'll never get that win.
You're running with the best now, better step it up,
No room for slowing down, you've got to level up.
D
on't let them see you falter, don't let them see you drown,
I
f you slip, you'll lose your place, or get knocked to the ground.
T
his is my playground, where only the strong survive,
S
how me what you've got if you really want to thrive.

(Verse 2)
S
o you think you're really tough? Well, I think your kata's rough,
If
respect is what you want, that's something you gotta earn.
You're in for a lesson, and you've got a lot to learn,
So buckle up buttercup, it's time to train,
L
et's see if you can handle a little pain!
Oh, you'll learn the ropes, but you'll learn from me,
I
'm the king of this ring, just you wait and see!

(Bridge)
Fighting isn't just strength, it's about the mind,
I
n every move, a strategy you must find.
I didn't rise to the top with brawn alone,
I've earned my place, and I've carved my throne!

(Verse 3)
So you've got some fight and bite, and that's just fine,
But this is my turf, kid, so it's time to get in line.
You think you're ready, but I've seen this before,
Acting cool and steady is how you hit the floor.
S
crub this mission? Nah, that's not my style,
Y
ou're in my dojo now, so stick around a while.

(Outro)
You've made it through the fire, but the game's not done,
K
eep your head high, the battle's just begun.
Y
ou've made it this far, but can you take the heat?
I
n this place, only the fierce stand on their feet.

Born beneath banners of gold and white,
A
prince was named in silver light.
Cro
wned in duty, yet bound by chains,
Lov
e was a whisper he dared not name.

In the halls where silence reigned,
He met a knight who knew no shame.
Ste
el met velvet, from dusk till dawn,
A
love forbidden, yet never gone.

They met where roses veiled the night,
Hi
dden deep from watchful sight.
Fin
gers traced in candle's glow,
A
love the world must never know.

"No vow is sworn, yet here we stand,
Hea
rt to heart and hand in hand."
The
garden swayed, the stars stood still,
A
nd time obeyed their silent will.

Though duty calls, though vows are sworn,
M
y sword is yours, my heart still torn.
A
knight may serve, though love be lost,
D
evotion held despite the cost.

Let them dress you in robes of gold,
Let them bind you in love grown cold.
I shall stand where I must stay,
To
guard your life, though mine decays.

Erophic hearts, unseen, untold,
A
kingdom's price, a fate foretold.
One
must rule, one must kneel,
But
love won't breakit's forged in steel.

They met where moonlight kissed the ground,
Ha
nds brushed, no words, no sound.
"Say
the word, and I will stay,"
Ye
t crowned in duty, he dares not stray.

The crown was set, the vows were read,
H
e kissed a bride, but his heart had fled.
And
in the crowd, with quiet grace,
The knight stood still—no tears, no trace.

Erophic hearts, unseen, untold,
A
kingdom's price, a fate foretold.
O
ne must rule, one must kneel,
But
love won't break—it's forged in steel.

The halls grow old, the pages fade,
But
the garden keeps the vow they made.
For
royal hands are tied by fate,
A
prince may rule, a knight may ride,
Ye
t love like theirs will never die.
