OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent: Creating a clone army for General Kaarl
Role: Heavy Infantry
Permissions: N/A
Links: N/A

GENERAL INFORMATION
Unit Name: Verschlimmbesserung Legions
Affiliation: General Wulf Kaarl
Classification: Heavy Infantry
Description: The Legionaries are unmatched warriors, clad in heavy armour and equipped with the finest weapons. They themselves are products of the finest gene-craft, cloned from chimaeric stock from both a Herglic and a Cragmaloid progenitor. Each stands several meters tall, and their natural gifts are further enhanced to an incredible degree, making them extremely physically strong and durable. There are ten colour schemes for the ten legion groups. Company Captains each report to the First Captain who functions as Legion commander. Legionaries are incredibly well coordinated via telepathy, while their discipline is backed up with inhibitor chips.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Unit Size: Large
Unit Availability: Common
Unit Experience: Elite
Equipment: Armour and weapons, Shield, Heavy Rifle, Pistol, Bardiche
Combat Function: A legion functions as a whole, coordinated by a Captain, able to deploy quickly from air transports as drop troops. Coordinated by their officers, the legion is completely obedient to orders, and incredibly disciplined. They show no fear, nor will they shrink from any challenge. One legionary can bolster a defensive line, while ten can take an outpost, a hundred can suppress an entire city, and a thousand can take and hold a city against most any sort of opposition.

Strengths:
Instantaneous telepathic communication with other legionaries
Super strong and well armed
Very damage resistant, well armoured and well shielded

Weaknesses:
Do not work well with other units, cannot and do not communicate
Loss of an officer will disrupt command and control
Unsuited for deployment in civilian areas

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
General Kaarl had placed an order with Kamino to develop a project to produce a clone unit of ten thousand warriors some years back, with the project to be placed on hold pending a donor subject. The cloners worked on enhancing natural gifts of strength and durability, and in producing fast-grown clones to the specifications provided to them.

The clone template produced by the Kaminoans utilized the DNA of two of Kaarl's most trusted lieutenants, Colonels Pachus and Willi. The chimaeric template combines Cragmaloid and Herglic species into a unique soldier type, which is further enhanced with strength and intelligence augmentation. The clones were all grown and trained on Kamino, being equipped as a full legion before shipping out to form the Verschlimmbesserung Legion.

Legionaries can be deployed individually, in a platoon of ten guided by a lieutenant, a company of one hundred commanded by a Captain, or as a full Legion. Each officer's command is augmented by the legionaries' inhibitor chips which ensure they will obey all orders. While a massive advantage in coordination, this system can become a liability if officers are taken out during combat, command and control will be disrupted. Only officers are capable of speech, in order to coordinate with those outside of the legion. Though legionaries communicate perfectly with one another, this can be an issue if they are required to talk to non-legionaries.

In battle a fully deployed legion is a sight to behold, with hundreds of huge armoured warriors, equipped with heavy repeating blasters, a plasma disruptor, and with a deadly and large bardiche weapon for close combat. Whether deployed for defense, or charging into battle bellowing war cries, they are not a sight any enemy could take lightly. The Sehnsucht Company has paid for and secured the full production run of ten thousand legionaries, divided into the ten V-legions.

General Kaarl General Kaarl Hello again! I always love seeing clones. There's just one major thing that I noticed here:

Unit Experience | Looking at all of your Combat Information and the template, having a Large, Common, and Elite trained unit doesn't make much sense. Per the template, "Veteran and Elite are more appropriate to smaller, less common units with lower casualty rates than the rank and file, while Trained and lower are appropriate for larger, more common units with higher replacement needs". You could do a few things here:
  • You could reduce the Size and Availability and keep the Elite Experience as a result.
  • You could keep the Size and Availability and reduce the Experience level.
Please let me know if you need any help or tag me once edits are complete!
