BIOGRAPHY:

Wulf Kaarl grew up on the distant planet of Nagi, the third child of five, he had three brothers and a younger sister. Of the Kaarl children, only young Wulf showed affinity with the Force. In time, a Jedi came to the family and took Wulf away to be trained with his Jedi Order.

Wulf's life with the Jedi was a happy one, and the Order became his family. He enjoyed learning to master his powers, and finding a deeper purpose. He worked to preserve peace, following the honour codes of his Nagai people and balancing his deep sense of honour with the Jedi Code.

Wulf worked hard to attain the rank of Master, and was considered one of the finest lightsaber combatants among his fellow Jedi. He served many years advising the council while he moved among the galaxy's many worlds, serving as a force for peace.

Wulf was struck down in a skirmish on the world of Eriadu, and very nearly was killed by a terrorist explosive device. He spent years in rehabilitation, though he recovered much of his health, he lost use of his lower limbs. The lower spinal damage was unable to be repaired, even with the best of medical science, or with the Force.

Wulf came, during his long convalescence, to fall in love with a nurse. The deep attachment he came to feel for the young woman Zori was immediately and strongly in conflict with his Jedi self, with his Nagai blood ringing true. Once he had recovered enough to leave the medcenter, his first order of business was to resign from the Jedi Order.

Wulf and Zori came to live very happily together, and were married a year after the former Jedi's recovery from his injuries. They moved to the Outer Rim and found a suitable home on a quiet out of the way world, far from the Jedi. For many years they were very happy, Wulf worked as a local marshal and even as a mercenary to bring in an income, and they never went hungry.

Wulf's past came back to haunt him one day when a Jedi tracked him down to the farmstead, and brought trouble along with him. A local slaving organization, believing the Jedi had come to shut them down, took preventative action, launching several missiles at the farm. Both the Jedi and Zori were killed in the attack, though Wulf survived. Zori survived just long enough to extract a vow from her husband that he was not to give up the fight, he did not get to die, his honour demanded that he live, and fight on.

Wulf wished no more than to end his suffering, but his honour would not allow him to break his vow to his beloved. The bonds of love for Nagai ran bone deep, and he had to respect the spirit of his promise to Zori. Knowing well the tools of logistics and organization in a military capacity with his many operations as a Jedi, he founded Sehnsucht Company to provide a dedicated anti-slavery liberation force for the Outer Rim, and eventually the galaxy.

Wulf became once more a General, this time in command of a force he himself had built up over many years, putting together all of the pieces to create an efficient and effective striking force. The Company works under the code of honour laid down by Wulf as adapted from the Nagai, taking on challenging assignments, and making a trade at the most difficult and dangerous operations.
