Strengths:
-Discipline: as a promising ballerina, Verie has developed a mental as well as physical discipline, forcing herself to practice, and practice, and practice some more until her part is memorized almost perfectly.
-Physical strength: as plumbers use wrenches and carpenters use hammers and nails, Verie's tool of the trade is her body, and a finely crafted one at that. A decade of training has trimmed her form and given muscle mass.
Weakness:
-Social anxiety: Verie was the product of a highly overbearing and critical mother. While this resulted in a drive to succeed, it also resulted in her fear of failure in all manner of things. Where she poured herself into work, she never felt fully integrated into social settings and doesn't feel at ease among other people.
-Vanity: though her vanity is not the traditional type where she frets about not being pretty enough, Verie has concerns about no longer being pretty enough, or talented enough, or skilled enough to advance in her career.

BIOGRAPHY:
Verie Natasi Lacroix was born to Faber and Avadreia Lacroix, their second child. She grew up close to her older brother Sante until he was shipped off to Faber's old military academy. Soon after, when she was ten, Verie was sent to a distinguished academy for the arts. Against Avadreia's better judgment, Faber allowed her to take a course in classical ballet, and as it turned out she was rather good at it.
She spent eight years at the academy, moving up the ranks of ballerinas (and learning some real school subjects, as well) before joining the Kuati Ballet Corps, with whom she has toured for two years, one year in the corps de ballet before moving to become a principal dancer. However, recently during a practice recently she took a rather bad fall and fractured her ankle and has thus been given leave from the ballet corps to recuperate at home.
