Vel Cepheus

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Vel has an ectomorph frame with very fair skin. He has voluminous blonde hair that naturally flows down to his shoulders naturally, typically kept up in a ponytail. He has some light muscular toning from his jedi training, but is not broad in size. His eyes are ocean blue, and perhaps his most predominant feature are his large, pointy ears, a signature staple of his species. The young jedi doesn't have much in the way of scars, not being exposed to much real combat.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Fueled by a sense of passion and justice, the young Jedi believes the force is the great equalizer of life, always finding a way to balance the scales. Raised in a comfortable and relatively posh childhood, Vel carries and air of decorum and posture. This privileged upbringing has also given him a very narrowed and naive approach towards the galaxy, unaware how truly deep the corruptions and evil seeps in the every day lives of people. He has a kind and gentle heart, always seeking out to help others even if means to endanger himself.
STRENGTHS
- Moldable: A fresh padawan, he is eager to learn and willing to take on the guidance of one more seasoned and experienced than himself.
- Caring: A servant to the force, Vel deeply cares for others and displays deep empathy even with an enemy. He is soft-hearted and believes in the good-nature in most people and in life.
WEAKNESSES
- Emotional: His deep emotions and convictions coupled with his empathy can be easily exploited, sometimes getting the better of him. Without precaution he can easily be swept up by passion, flirting with darker sides of the force.
- Naivete: By large growing up his life was very safe and mundane, unaware of the true scope of the harshness that floods the galaxy. He believes other people think as he does, and shares his understanding of life and energy.
HISTORY
Born into the world with a chip on his shoulder, Vel's history has a strong connection with that of the force. His mother served as the senator and representative of his people on the planet Isobe. His father left much to be desired; more comfortable with the lavish lifestyle that came with political power, he often frayed from responsibility and views life as a personal party held in his honor. His older sister, Freya, was strong in the ways of the force. Plucked from the Jedi at an early age, she was trained to become a respectable knight, serving as their planetary guardian while she looked over their sector of space.
Her eventual disappearance while investigating sith activity in the sector left a hole in their family as well as many on the planet. With the lack of closure from the disappearance of his sister, Vel found himself in a very dark place following the disappearance of his kin and mentor. When the boy came of age, his connection to the force was apparent and at the contest of his mother, volunteered to join the ranks of the Jedi protectors throughout the galaxy. After completing the basic training required for padawanship, Vel finds himself seeking out a Jedi Master to travel throughout the galaxy.
