Veidron Shale was born on the distant planet of Teth to a pair of Glaucus pilgrims seeking to find roots in a community on the world. The Glaucus were known for their ability to rapidly adjust to new environments, allowing them to thrive in a wide range of conditions, even the humid jungles of Teth. This unique adaptability caught the attention of a Sith cult known as the Sons of Bane.
The Sons of Bane sought to harness the potential of the Glaucus for their nefarious purposes. They abducted young Veidron, along with other Glaucus younglings, and subjected him to a life of slavery and abuse, exploiting the Glaucus' adaptable nature to further their own dark agenda. Veidron endured relentless physical and psychological torture at the hands of the Sith, leaving him scarred both emotionally and physically.
However, fate intervened when a Mandalorians from Clan Shale encountered the Sith cult during one of their missions. The Mandalorians, renowned for their sense of honor and duty, were appalled by the treatment of Veidron and the other enslaved beings. In a daring rescue operation, Clan Shale liberated Veidron from the clutches of the Sith and took him under their wing.
Recognizing Veidron's resilience and potential, the Mandalorians made him a Foundling, an honorary member of their clan. He was personally adopted into the family of
Gar Shale
. The Mandalorians taught Veidron the ways of their warrior culture, training him in combat, survival skills, and the Mandalorian code of honor.
Despite his rescue, Veidron's experiences with the Sith had left deep scars on his psyche. The abuse and cruelty he endured fostered a deep-seated misanthropy within him, leading him to develop a profound distrust of others. Veidron's mistrust often manifested in violent outbursts, as the residual anger and trauma from his past erupted uncontrollably at times.
He currently serves as a Si’kahya, adhering to the Order of the Wolf. While he has not seen much battle in his new role, he does find some peace to have comrades to stand by. -
Strengths
- Mandalorian: During his Mandalorian training with Clan Shale, Veidron Shale honed his combat skills, becoming a formidable warrior proficient in various forms of weaponry and hand-to-hand combat.
- Glaucus Biology: As a member of the Glaucus species, Veidron Shale possessed a unique biological makeup that set him apart from other beings in the galaxy. His species can adapt to most atmospheres, and parts of his body are similar to a vonduun crab.
Weaknesses
- Misanthropic: Veidron's experiences with the Sith cult left him scarred and deeply mistrustful of others, leading to a misanthropic disposition. He struggles to form meaningful connections and often keeps others at a distance, fearing betrayal or manipulation. He is especially distrustful of Force users.
