Description: With every clash of nation against nation...with every display of nature's wrath...there are unfortunate consequences. Whether it be by the will of man or simply the powers that be, the complete displacement of innocent bystanders is a reality of the modern era. Homes, nay, lives are destroyed in these rampages; reducing any semblance of stability to nothing. While the flagship product of Verd Constructs, Incorporated is not a miraculous return to the status quo, it is the very start of the recovery process.
Known as the Rapid Response Shelter, this seemingly simple "pod" is something that can bring some measure of comfort to a hopeless situation. Whether a city is leveled due to invasion of earthquake, these shelters are pre-fabricated in order to instantly provide the displaced a safe haven to rest their heads. Each shelter is consists of a Durasteel shell that is properly insulated to provide a comfortable, defense against the elements. Basic furnishings are included: such as bedding for four, a washroom, etc. Furthermore, each shelter is included with a small-yield portable generator which provides power for the unit's lighting, climate control, and auxilery systems.
All in all, while the Rapid Response Shelter may not be as lavish as what was lost, it is surely a welcome refuge in times of need.
