STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

Blade-Born: As a Nagai, Vaxis was essentially born a duelist. He is a master of many styles of melee combat, specializing in bladed weaponry.

Deadly Dancer: His Nagai reflexes allow him to remain quick on his feet, allowing him to outmaneuver an average opponent in combat.

Vaapad Expert: Despite his lack of a lightsaber, Vaxis has trained extensively in Vaapad, allowing him to gain more of an advantage when fighting against a darksider.

Tell Me More: The charms of the Nagai are well-known, and Vaxis is no exception. He is able to use his Force abilities to enhance this, making him an exceptional interrogator.

Through the Facade: Vaxis has honed his ability to seek the truth within others through the Force, essentially making him a walking lie detector.

Not the Same: His mysterious nature has caused others in the Crusade to feel suspicious of him, often not treating him as one of their own. Many have gone as far as to accuse him of heresy, though these charges have always been put to rest through his continued loyalty.

Alone in the Dark: Due to the nature of Vaxis’s position within the Crusade, he has kept to himself, avoiding building substantial relationships so that his mind is not clouded. This has caused him to live a life of isolation, and causes him to naturally push others away.

APPEARANCE:

Vaxis is a typical Nagai in appearance. He is a lean man with incredibly pale skin. His demeanor is often one of distance, exhibiting the walls he puts up between himself and other people. He is almost never seen outside of his uniform, and his helmet stays on whenever he is in public. The uniform itself is very atypical of the Crusade, as Vaxis has opted for the black more commonly associated with darksiders. This has added to the suspicion placed upon him by others, but he only views it through a lens of practicality. Stealth is incredibly important to his duties as a Juror, and Vaxis seeks to avoid being noticed, both on and off the battlefield.

PERSONALITY:

Honor is everything to the Nagai, and though Vaxis adheres to these concepts, his perception of them is different from others of his species. This is largely due to his devout belief in the teachings of the Holy Ashlan Papacy. He is an incredibly pious individual, And often adheres to the tenets of the Ashla in a very strict manner. He is quiet, methodical, and always ready to defend the faith. In many ways, he is an ideal follower of the Ashlan church.

BIOGRAPHY:

Not much is known about Vaxis, save for his involvement within the Ashlan Crusade. What is known is that he was personally recruited by Pietro Demici, and immediately added to the ranks of the Holy Jury of Ashla. He has been known as one of the most effective members of the Jury, having brought countless followers of the Bogan to justice. He is considered to be a valuable asset due to his unbridled devotion to the cause. If a ranking member of the Papacy is believed to be a traitor, it is Vaxis that is called upon to investigate. He is often sent deep behind enemy lines, operating within the shadows as a hidden weapon of the Church. This mysterious existence has caused questions to be raised about Vaxis, and there have been several instances where others had accused him of heresy, and of dipping his toes in the stench of the Bogan. These accusations have always been proven false, as Vaxis is one of the most devout within the Crusade’s ranks. Nevertheless, he is likely doomed to remain an outcast, and cursed to forever be known as the Dark Sentencer.
