STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Strengths:
-Vasto is not very muscular at all, though he has high stamina. The desert planet of Tatooine is a rough place, shaping those who manage to survive into many forms. In Vasto’s case, though he lacks brute force, he is extremely agile and can survive out in the desert for months with mal nutrition.
This feat is probably due to not just because of his body adapting to the harsh environments of Tatooine, but also the force. Weeks on end can Vasto journey out into the deserts without drinking as much water as many should to stay hydrated, his body feeding off the force.
Vasto does know how to use a blaster quite well, spending a lot of his youth learning how to use one by a bounty hunter. The reason behind this will be explained in Vasto’s history.
-Vasto does know how to build things from junk, making his an expert in salvaging discarded parts. One time, he managed to build a very powerful blaster, which even worked bettered than its original factory form. However, it got stolen by a group of raiders that a managed to find his hideout. Nevertheless, Vasto is quite handy with materials that are deemed “Useless.”
Weaknesses:
-Vasto, growing up in an environment filled with large deserts, Vasto never learned how to swim. Vasto has never even left his home planet before. The many vast planets that exist out in the galaxy, Vasto has never seen before. Though, he has heard quite a few names of planets through listening in on traveler’s conversations.
-Being stuck on the planet of Tatooine, Vasto does not know of his own Sith heritage. In fact, he is the only one of his kind on the planet, to his knowledge.
-Vasto does not know of the force, or what the force does. He has heard of the term, but really doesn’t know anything about it.
APPEARANCE:
Vasto is a tall lanky individual, his sith genes strong in appearance as well. With his light red skin, many black in tattoos can be seen on his arms. He receives these through many “jobs” that he took to put food in his stomach. Though Vasto is not physically strong, due to his V shaped figure, he is appeared to be very “cut”, when in reality he is not all that strong. His eyes are very bright, sunset orange to be exact. When the sun’s light reflects off of them, his eyes become even brighter, hence the name. Being in a harsh environment, Vasto’s hair is dreaded. The knots in his hair taking shape into dread locks that reach pass his shoulders, and stop right at his chest. Though they are long in length, they are actually quite skim too. His hands are large too, as well as his veins that show without force. Vasto, even with the harsh sun, is still regarded to having a very handsome face, with no facial hair.
His clothes suit his environment, a sleeveless grey vest that is untucked, the end of his vest forms a v, making the vest seem more like a slim fit poncho. It has an even darker grey outlining. His black pants are heavy fortified cargo pants, the knees being covered with a silver metal cap too. The ends of these pants are tucked within his heavy black boots. Vasto also has a red scarf that is wrapped around his neck, the ends are kept on his back. Finally, Vasto has old black gloves that he wears.
Vasto does carry around an old beat up rifle, as his only means of protection, and his tool he uses for “work”. From time to time, Vasto also wears a black cloak that has a hood.
BIOGRAPHY:
Vasto Cormin was born on Tatooine, or so he thought. Vasto was actually born near Tattoine space, outside the planet. The ship that he was on was attacked by bandits that sought out the ship’s supplies, a grave mistake the pilot made by traveling in an unarmed vessel. When the large vessel crash landed after the attack, with all its data and supplies pillaged from its hull, the sith Infant laid silently deep within the hull of the ship. When the ship indeed crashed, its structure landed into the vast sea of the desert, the sand taking hold of it, sinking it into the dark abyss of the sand with only a portion of it staying within plain sight. The raiders had pillaged the section where all of the ships supplies and data were stored, the sith pure blood infant was safely cached away deep inside the ship, somehow managing to survive. The strong connection of the force was the only reason how Vasto survived.
Months, if not years later, the infant had aged into about the age of 4.Unable to speak, not knowing any language at all, the child roamed the halls of the dark ship. Finally, he had emerged onto the surface; his skin pale from the dark, his eye sight was poor too. But in time, he managed to adapt to his new surroundings. A year later, still not knowing how to speak, with only a tight long pair of pants, the new sith ventured out into the desert.
Within time, Vasto had come into contact with a bounty hunter, who took the boy in as a slave due to the fact that he had never seen vasto’s race before. He was abused to no end, he was given no name, and he was only to serve the bounty hunter. However, within that time, he was taught how to speak basic, a language that almost everyone spoke. He even learned how to fix blasters and ion cartridges. Vasto became so good at fixing things, that he could almost anything he needed from spare parts, so long as he had the parts. This trait was also how the bounty hunter sealed his fate. A month later, the bounty hunter that forced Vasto into slavery, was killed by a faulty blaster. The blaster was rigged so that the power source within the blaster, would fire a blast so powerful, that the energy source would explode.
At the age of 12, Vasto had been hired onto a mercenary group. This group had been in many fights, allowing Vasto to gain experience with a blaster. It was then that Vasto had received his name. The group leader was a Twi'lek, who was most amazed at what the sith blood could do. He was the only on in the group who could fight and endure the harsh desert with relentless effort. Vasto, was what the Twi’lek named him, which meant untiring in the Twi’lek language. The name Cormin was added when he helped his leader defeat a very powerful bounty, Cormin the Cruel. During this time, Vasto’s connection with the force became stronger. Vasto became aware of how he never had to eat as much as others, or even drink as much to stay hydrated. He thought this to be only because of his race, which he, nor the mercenary group had never heard, or seen off.
The one thing that Vasto learned from this group, was loyalty. No one gets far with treachery. Vasto had seen his leader kill many of his group’s members out of suspicion of betrayal. This was how Vasto’s sense of loyalty, his sense morality took shape. If you were on board, then prepared to get spaced, this motto was etched into Vasto’s mind for good.
Five years later, the group be disbanded after the leader was killed in a fire fight, Vasto had been living in the ship wreak in the desert ever since. The section of the ship where he stayed was modified to support life, as well as to receive messages from his employers on the planet.
Many had heard of him, and knew of the large ship that stuck out from the harsh sands. Vasto had even obtained a sense of fame within the bounty underworld, hence his jobs that he receives from time to time. They were mostly retrieval mission, with a bit of assassination request as well. However, with all the minuscule task, Vasto had always wondered what he could do off world. Vasto had never traveled off Tatooine, he doesn’t even know what race he is. So for now, the Sith continues to live out in the desert, traveling through cities from time to time, looking for work. Unknowing of his what is out there, off world.
