STRENGTHS:

+ Polymorphic: As a Gurlanin, Varghos os a polymorphic being, having the power to switch between forms, but is limited to two. His most common form is the Valkyri sized male humanoid seen above. The other is a large, white lupine animal.

+ Canine Senses: Even in humanoid form, Varghos has access to the heightened senses that are typical to canines. He can discern smells, hear at a larger spectrum, and see at a greater range than his human comrades.

+ Tracker: Stemming from his canine senses, Varghos has honed himself to be an excellent tracker. In many ways, he is almost like a loyal bloodhound, seeking out targets that are bidden by his master.

WEAKNESSES:

- The Beast: While he seems to be a rather civil, if gruff, person, Varghos is constantly keeping himself in check. His aggressiveness, if he's not careful, can unleash the primitive side. Being a wolven being, this means unwillingly tapping into his predatory skills to kill.

- Vengeful: Having lost all of his family, Varghos seeks out reclaim the weregild indebted to him in blood. In this case, he places blame on the Sith Empire and the Heavenshields. Should have the chance to claim his revenge, he will likely taking it over his duties as a Hellknight.

PERSONALITY:
Varghos can come off as quite gruff on the outside. With a combination of his wolfish nature and the losses in his life, who could blame him? However, he is a very devoted ally to those he's friendly to, but a very obsessive enemy to those that cross him. He has a bleeding heart for those whom justice has ignored, and will use his Order's resources to help hunt down and imprison them so that they can be tried in the Hellknights' own court. He also has a light dislike for Sith, moreso those alligned with the red-blades that slaughtered his family.

BIOGRAPHY:

The earliest memories he can recall was a cage. He remembers the two Gurlanin that were his blood parents. They had been captured and enslaved. His birth parents were stubborn and uncooperative to their captors. That was quickly remedied with a blaster bolt to each of them. For a few years, the young pup suffered the life of slave under the servitude. Their ship was passing through the Galactic east when a slave revolt caused their ship to make a crash landing to the nearest world.

The impact saw the death of most of the slaver crew, and the slim survival of the young Gurlanin and his main abuser. Fate had brought them to a cold world, much like Hoth, yet surprisingly filled with trees and life atypical to such a world. It was not long before the two survivors were met by natives. Three men, one elder and two sons, approached the slaver. It did not end well, as the elder man planted the blade of a sword into his chest. That was nearly the same fate for the pup, were it not him transforming into a scared, frightened, human-looking child. In a fateful twist, the elder took kindness on the boy, and took him in. The Gurlanin was renamed Varghos

He soon became familiar to his new surroundings. The world was called Midvinter, and the older man he came to call father. For many years, Varghos was raised a son to this new family, who helped him gain control over his wolven instinct and form. It was a simple, but happy life. Or so it would seem...

Years later, Varghos was a man when Midvinter became more galactically aware. With it, came unforeseen consequences. The red-blades came to Midvinter and brought ruin to Thanebroek, and the death of Varghos' second family. He swore vengeance on the Sith who killed them, and the king who seemed to forsake them. Once things quieted down, he found passage offworld, and began a life devoted to getting revenge, but similarly seeking to bring justice to others who were similarly wronged. This, eventually, saw his joining up with the Hellknights.
