POINTS OF INTEREST
Many of the mountain ranges have old Mandalorian War era mines that have long since been abandoned. There is one large mountain range, with the tallest mountain in the region, that while having a cave entrance, has no indication of being a mine, or of ever being explored by miners. Many caves scattered about in the mountains of the desert have very old drawings on the walls, depicting different things. Many of them involve a temple, bathed in the glow of the planet's moon.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Created over centuries after severe deforestation of the area by the mining companies of long ago, the once beautiful forests of Vanquo turned into an arid desert. New life evolved and adapted to the change in climate, bringing new life to the once near-death biome. Unexplored for many years, there are many as of yet unknown species of flora and fauna living here. Cave drawings in local caves untouched by the miners of old tell of an ancient civilization that has long since been either extinct, or migrated from the planet.
