STRENGTHS
  • Midnight's Kiss - The powerful cybernetic jaws of the Vampyre Mod can bite down through flesh and light armour with devastating speed, injecting foes with sedatives or lethal solutions.

WEAKNESSES
  • Humanity Waning - Due to the extensive surgery required those who have had the Vampyre Cybernetic have had to lose their ability to enjoy the finer things in life, such as eating. Although they can still flash a smile with teeth and wiggle their tongue these are nothing more than cosmetic in nature. Their entire throat and mouth has been reworked, replaced with the deadly modifications and tubing that leads to the lungs and stomach. Breathing is unaffected but drinking is done through a feeding tube, as well as eating. Liquid food is the only option, down the same feeding tube as normal liquids. No longer will they enjoy the taste of food or drink.

  • Close and Personal - The limited range of the syringes means the cyborg must be in biting range of a victim to engage them effectively.

  • Electrical Malfunction - Although no critical damage will be done to the individual, EMP-based attacks will prevent the operation of this cybernetic, sometimes malfunctioning the cybernetic itself and confusing the systems, plates shifting open and closed on the face, syringes ejecting uncontrollably.

DESCRIPTION
EUd98k0.gif
Bucket Boy of the Darkwire Network shaped the Vampyre cybernetic project with the help of captured sentients found on Lotho Minor. Sedated and dragged into his ramshackle hut among the wastelands of the junkworld. Bucket Boy began studying the bone structure of his captives and performing multiple botched surgeries on them. Multiple trial tests were done, resulting often in critical failure and loss of life of his victims. External cybernetics were attempted at first, large chunks of metal jutting out from the flesh of his test patients. He delved into a more stealth-like approach to the cybernetic, replacing the entire jaw and cheekbone, replacing it with internal durasteel columns that maintained facial structure. Synthskin was grafted over to reflect a more natural look and feel. Externally it is still noticeable that cybernetic implants have been done.

The Vampyre cybernetic is an almost aesthetically pleasing look from the outside, surface-level wires and plates visible in patterns along the face. Up close and personal it quickly becomes terrifying as the maw of the cyborg opens up revealing extensive internal work, false teeth are pulled back, facial plates opening up as two large powerful syringes eject from what was once the mouth. With lightning speed these syringes that bite through flesh and light armour, injecting any number of desirable liquid solutions directly into a victim. Sedatives and nerve agents can quickly take effect on victims this way. The far more sinister of Darkwire Shadowrunners may fill the syringes with flesh-melting acid solutions, a cruel fate to anyone who may fall victim.
