SPECIAL FEATURES
  • While it isn’t entirely a normal Sith Sword, Valzino Âhcir shares many similarities with most Sith Swords, including their resistance to lightsabers, ability to absorb Force Lightning, and deflect blaster bolts. The blade also holds the ability, when activated, rend apart most armors. However, to do this, the blade drains the Force energy of the user, and can even kill them if the ability is not turned off. As a Sith Sword, the blade gives a dark side aura, and can be damaged or destroyed by Force Light.

Strengths:
  • Bite of the Devil: The edge is created with Devaronian Blood-poison, a gem which, when ground down and mixed into a blade, creates what is known as a Devaronian Edge. When it cut a victim, it causes immense pain in the contact area until the wound fully heals, and leaves a chance* for the target to feel the full effects of the Blood-poison jem as the toxins course through the subject’s bloodstream.
  • God Cutter: While a Monomolecular edge allows the blade to slice most cloth and armorweave with ease, the weapon allows the user to, upon uttering a spoken phrase, cut through most armors.
  • Spider’s Grasp: To quote the Kiin’dray Leather submission “Items crafted from Kiin'dray Leather will find themselves naturally attuned to Touch of the Kiin'dray. For example, gloves or handle-wraps will bind to the grip of the wielder, allowing them to hold their tool steady despite recoil or telekinetic seizure attempts.”
  • Second Hand: Valzino Âhcir has a handle longer than most swords of the same length, allowing it to be used in one or two hands.
  • Mistborne: As stated in the technology sub for the Talisman of Calling, “A wearer of the Talisman is always - discreetly - armed. The weight of a ring is vastly lighter than that of most items.”
Weaknesses:
  • Abyssal Beacon: As creations of Sith Alchemy, the Sword radiate the Dark Side. This makes detection through the Force very easy.
  • Stygian Heritage: The weapon is born of the Dark Side and can be harmed and even destroyed by bursts of Lightside energy such as Force Light.
  • Ravenous Thirst: Once activated, the blade drains the user’s energy into itself, and if left active for too long, will kill the user.
  • One-Way Trip: Just because something can cut into something, doesn’t mean you can get it out again. While the blade can cut into armors, it will still get stuck in them.
  • Bound in Mist: As stated in the technology Sub for the Talisman of Calling, “An item "sacrificed" to the Talisman can only exist in the physical realm for two hours at a time. When returned to the Mist, the item cannot be beckoned again until two hours pass. Ysalamiri Fields disrupt the intermediary process, resulting in the item's premature return to the Mist. Destruction of the Talisman results in the item's being lost. Permanently. Likewise, damage to the item is not undone upon returning to the Mist — when it's destroyed, it's destroyed.”
DESCRIPTION

“Although lightsabers are a superior weapon, there is still nothing quite as satisfying as feeling the warm spray of blood when one cleaves through one's enemy with a real sword."
-Komok-Da

There are some things that make sense when you think about why to use a weapon besides a lightsaber. First, there are energy shields. A sturdy enough personal energy shield can protect the user from a lightsaber. Second, creatures such as Leviathans and Terentereks, as well as some Sithspawn, exhibited skin that resisted energy weapons, such as Lightsabers. Third, metals such as Phrik and Beskar, as well as many Cortosis alloys, can stop most lightsaber blades. Valzino Âhcir answers all of these shortcomings. As a simple sword that cuts with an edge rather than a blade of plasma, it ignores energy shields. The monomolecular edge cuts through the hides of Sithspawn with ease. And as for armors? The God Cutter has a bite not even they can stop.

When the wielder utters the phrase ‘Kraujas’, the blade’s ability activates and it begins to drain the energies of the user, channeling these energies into the blade and amplifying the weapon's cutting power. However, this effect is draining on the user, and can kill them in less than an hour if left unchecked. The effect can be deactivated by uttering the same phrase.

Beyond that, the blade is bound to a Talisman of Calling, allowing it to be summoned by uttering its name. However, it can only exist in the physical world for two hours at a time, and must be returned to the Mist for two hours after be summoned. Beyond that, it is a simple, if pretty, ring that can be destroyed like any other.
