SPECIAL FEATURES

Provides a field medical kit for armoured troopers.
Able to integrate with armour systems to provide a more effective healing and stimulant package that was able to provide real time care.
Strengths:

Able to provide medical care for those armoured soldiers who might otherwise need to be peeled out of their armour before a medic can help them.
Able to provide stimulant boosts to soldiers to keep them fighting for longer, and fighting harder than they otherwise would.
Through the use if medisensors (like the sensors built into the Hexarium Body Glove) the Valkyrie is able to monitor the armour's occupant in real time, releasing drugs and stimulants to keep them moving and adjust to circumstances, releasing drugs to combat anxiety and exhaustion in combat to keep the occupant functioning at peak form.
By releasing the right mix of Drugs the Valykrie is able to allow its user to fight beyond the point where a normal fighter would collapse.

Weaknesses:

Designed as a component for armour and suits the Valkyrie is unable to function without that power source and computational power.
The Valkyrie has a limited store of drugs, and is not intended to supplant a medic, just to provide aid when a medic is unavailable.
The Valkyrie is unable to perform surgery or any medical procedure, if it detects that the user is injured to that degree it will put them into a chemically induced coma and trigger a locator beacon.
The feeling of invincibility you get, of clear headedness that the Valkyrie can be addictive to the soldiers using it.
Vulnerability to hacking/ion blasts: If the Valkyrie is hacked, not impossible given the data links that modern armour has, then the drugs in its system can be flushed into an opponent, killing them or shutting them down. If the Valkyrie is disabled then it can provide no further assistance, which can be dangerous for someone who has come to depend on it.
It’s the fall that’ll kill you: The Valkyrie is able to keep you active and pumped up, but after combat, after you step out of the armour you still have to deal with the side effects of having so many drugs racing through your system. The shakes, erratic behavior or even unconsciousness are all side effects.
Limiter/Triage: In a combat situation several things can go wrong at one, requiring boosts and healing to be done in rapid succession. The Valkyrie is first and foremost a healing system and therefore will always prioritise healing over boosts. What boosts are given tend to be minor to minimize side effects. A shot of adrenaline to bring you awake etc. It is possible to manually override the limiter, but then you have to deal with the side effects of receiving a large and varied drug dose.
The body is only so strong: Using the Valkyrie puts an additional strain on the body. Where a wound should debilitate you it allows you to fight on past your limits, but in doing so
.
DESCRIPTION

It was a perennial problem, infantry in war, workers in a factory, they were all subject to injuries, to needing relief right when you needed them the most. This was why combat medics were introduced, to aid those soldiers who needed it on the battlefield. But in today's age of firepower, of armoured suits striking deep into enemy territory, onboard their ships, the job of the field medic is increasingly dangerous, if it’s doable at all. It was to this end that Locke and Key Mechanics went back to the drawing board. In the middle of a firefight, it was obviously too dangerous to try to administer the first aid and stims that a medic was known for, so they set about introducing the job into the armour itself. And so the Valkyrie System was born.

Like it’s namesake the Valkyrie is designed to allow its user to ascend, to fight as if they were one of the champions of old by providing instantaneous medical assistance where needed. If you are shot in the shoulder it is capable of numbing the pain and stabilizing the wound to prevent you from bleeding out, allowing the armour’s user to continue fighting with a wound that would normally be lethal and debilitating. By monitoring your body it is able to treat any chemical imbalances through a cocktail of drugs which it can administer.

The problem Locke and Key ran into was those drugs, mixing and matching cocktails is a surefire way to cause permanent bodily harm. It was because of this that they introduced the medical software and a limiter. The Valkyrie was first and foremost meant as a built-in medkit, the ability to provide stim boost was an ancillary benefit. And yet, John knew that sometimes in combat, soldiers would need that edge, but the choice had to be up to them. That’s why the ability to force a stim boost was included, a momentary rush of power before the side effects hit.

The basic drug package tries to nullify that by using only drugs and stims that are authorised and safe, but have less powerful boosts. There are stims out there that could be fed into the system that provides a greater benefit but at a more significant cost. While John Locke was not willing to let the default system carry those risks, he knew that it could be modified to do that by its end user (OOC Note: Not sure how any such modifications would be handled by the user but the basic system, and the system used by all my future armours will not carry any modifications unless I put in a version extreme factory sub.)

Hi there! This is very nicely made and well balanced - could you just provide a hyperlink to the manufacturer? Add that and this is ready to get stamped.
