Accessibility
The best-kept secret of Nar Shaddaa is Valiens' Place, an Entertainment Club that is tucked away in the Under Levels of the Hutt Moon of Nal Hutta. Access to the Club is strictly regulated via a Membership Only policy which also requires visitors or potential members to be escorted into and introduced by an individual that is already a member and who is in good standing with the Club. The external facade of the Club is such as to ensure that it blends in with the surrounding structures and does not stick out to prevent unwanted visitors from attempting to gain access to the Club.

Description
The external facade of Valiens' Place is unassuming and was designed to ensure that it blends in with the surrounding structures and buildings of Nar Shaddaa to prevent the Club from calling any unwanted or undue attention to its location. Brightly lit signage matches the decor of the area, with the exterior facade also kept as clean as its neighboring buildings, which are often caked in the dirt and grim that accompanies the Underlevels of any Ecumenopolis.

POINTS OF INTEREST

THE MAIN VENUE
exAGYKE.jpg
A large ovoid-shaped room with darkened private booths along the exterior that surround the central open dancefloor. In the middle of the far wall is a brightly lit stage that is recessed into the wall and contains a myriad of sound and stage equipment for acts that are known to perform nightly for Club Members in attendance. Additional public booths and tables take up much of the center of the room though they flank a large open dance floor that is located just in front of the stage. The dance floor is more often used by performers than it is used by patrons in the Club.

BANQUET HALL

Located across from the Main Venue is a long hallway that terminates in a semi-circle at one end and is marked with a series of booths and tables that are set into the room along two tiers separated by three or four steps on either side. When facing the far end of the room, the steps to the left that lead up to the second tier also lead to a hallway that grants access to the kitchens in the back of the Club. At the center of the room is a small dais that can hold a singular performer - often a singer - to entertain the Club Members who are often enjoying a meal in this hall.

THE BAR

The most important location of Valiens' Place is also the centerpiece of the Club and sits between the Main Venue to the left and the Banquet Hall to the right. At the center of the room is the bar proper which is often tended by a Muun Bar Tender who has an uncanny ability to remember everybody's name. In the center of the bar is a large glass bowl filled with water that often has a female member of an aquatic species - usually a Melody, Mon Calamari, or Quarren - performing in the water. The large bowl is set up into the ceiling which conceals a special dressing room for the aquatic performers. The bar consists of the actual bar itself as well as a handful of tables and chairs lining the outer circle of the room.

SECURITY
Medium - Security at Valiens' Place predominately consists of utilizing a TT-8L Gatekeeper Droid to check for Membership Cards, and that an Individual's ID matches and that they are of age for their species before permitting entry. Just inside the main entrance is a secondary waiting room that is separated into two halves via an archway located in the middle; in actuality, this archway is a Weapon Detector that scans for any hidden weapons that a patron may be attempting to bring into the Club. On the right side of the room just after the archway is a secured security room that contains internal surveillance equipment and a series of weapon lockers to store checked-in or confiscated weapons that were brought in by Club Members or their Guests - all weapons are returned upon an individual exiting the Club. The Security Force consists of a dozen or so Nikto and Weequay armed with BD-1 Cutter Vibro-Axes and assorted personal blasters.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name and oftentimes that location is your local bar or cantina and that is the case for Valiens' Place. Opened sometime in the previous century, little is known of the historical record of the location due to an unfortunate event that is locally known as the Great Wipe which caused many of the events surrounding the founding of the Club to be lost, strangely enough, to History. The few records of its founding date it to a time when a group known as the Blue Hawks apparently claimed a portion of the Galaxy - though it is unclear if their territorial claims also include the Moon of Nar Shaddaa or if Valiens had even set foot on the moon. The Club itself was designed around the apparent and rumored attraction to species with Lekku that Valiens allegedly had and is the reason why the Club exclusively hires Twi'leks and Togruta barmaids and entertainers to staff the location.

The Club itself maintains its status as a meeting place for Club Members and often hosts individuals who would prefer a private meeting location to that of a more public scene. Valiens' Place is well known for its beautiful staff, the best drinks in the Sector, and lively nightly events featuring Twi'lek singers and dancers.
