ADVANCED SYSTEMS

Strengths:
  • Say Hello To My Little Friend(s) - A single Valiant-class supercarrier can hold hundreds, if not thousands of starfighters in its vast expanses of hangars. Its compliment surpasses that of many other supercarriers, and even exceeds some dreadnoughts in pure hangar space.
  • Queen Bee - The sophisticated comms system of a Valiant-class supercarrier allows it to very easily communicate with the starfighters under its service and even serve as a command ship for small to medium sized fleets.
  • Defense Boost - With Mon Calamari-made heavy capital shielding, Valiant supercarriers can handle a barrage for a short period of time.
Weaknesses:
  • Metal Tube - Starfighters are the Valiant supercarrier's primary weapon, and greatest defense. By itself, it is a much weaker vessel, with its armaments spread apart great distances. While its shielding may be well-designed, once it breaks, the carrier's armor is much weaker. Additionally, the hollow space inside the supercarrier isn't great for the ship's integrity, and any outer plating and framework caving into the carrier can cause serious, lasting damage.
  • Sitting Duck - Due to a majority of the interior space in a Valiant-class supercarrier being filled with hangars, the ship's engines are far from powerful. While it can move across space at a reasonable speed, it is expected for even other battlecruisers to outpace the carrier.
  • Tall Head - The large command bridge of a Valiant-class supercarrier is a blessing and a curse. It is easily visible protruding from the top of the ship, and enemies can quickly concentrate on it with little punishment.
Description: The Valiant-class supercarrier is the first vessel produced by ORME over two kilometers in length since Pickle Rick.

While the first Valiant supercarrier was produced in Outer Rim's massive Centurion Station, SJO backing made many more shipyards available for a greater production rate across the Silver fleets.

Designed to fill in the role of a medium supercarrier, a Valiant-class supercarrier can hold a whopping thirty-two squadrons in its vast hangars. Each of the twenty hangars lining the edges of the supercarrier are equally sized, and are each large enough to fit a frigate inside.

Additionally, a large command bridge supports a highly advanced communications system coordinating not only the carrier's functions, but also those of its starfighters. Due to dedicated areas of the command bridge being reserved for each portion, it is hard to interfere or jam either system.

As a side effect of strength-based Mon Calamari engineering, Valiant supercarriers are outfitted with molecular and energy shielding powerful for a carrier.

[member="Rick Kaloo"], this looks like a solid addition to the SJO fleet. This is actually a little underpowered right now, and I might suggest using that to increase some aspect or ratings of this ship.

At limited production, the affiliation should be a bit narrower than a major faction. A specific fleet, commander, or world within the SJO may be some options to consider here.

Thanks for the feedback!

The site's finally working for me! Anyway, I changed the Valiant supercarrier ratio to one per fleet.

That's pretty much "semi-unique" production right there, which will work for this. But if you formally go semi-unique, you could also buff the stats for this somewhat.

I intend for it to be Limited, not Semi-Unique. I'm making another carrier for that. I raised the count to two per fleet, hopefully fourteen still fits into Limited
