[+]Smith: Valerie is one of the few Beskar Smiths currently alive. This ancient and time honored craft is not common among the people of Mandalore and is something that Valerie learned from a young age. She is capable of forging both weapons and armor, though has far more of a knack for the former, rather than the latter. Though her crafts are not famous, within her clan the few pieces of armor that she has forged are both loved and deeply cherished.
[+]Hunter: Valerie like many Mandalorians is an avid hunter. She has an affinity for spears, using the weapons to great effect in single combat and against single as well as groups of multiple enemies. To her, fighting up close is the only way. This is only aided by her years of being a smith, her small upper body hiding an immense amount of strength.
[+]Siege Mistress: Though Bestala has the more tactical of the two young women, Valerie has an extreme knack for siege craft. Planets, Fortresses, Space Stations, any Bastion that an enemy might hold, Valerie is sure to figure out a way into it. At the same time Valerie's skill in building fortifications and defenses is unmatched, taking great pains to design and perfect her Bastions. The Clan Vizsla fortress is a perfect example of this, standing as one of the most imposing and intimidating Citadels in the Galaxy.
[-]Blasters: Unfortunately for someone so diminutive and reliant on technology, Valerie has never been a great shot. Unlike many other Mandalorians including her sister Bestala, even after years of training Valerie is terrible with a blaster or any sorts. Sniper weapons confound her, and she is barely able to use the wrist launcher on her armor.
[-]Size: Like her sister Bestala, Valerie is only 1.7m tall. Though her upper body strength is bewildering for someone of her size, in a galaxy filled with monsters, genetically enhanced soldiers, and powerful force users, She's still at quite a disadvantage when it comes to strength.
[-]Xenophobia: Valerie has a strong bite of racism that runs through her, not to aliens however, but to none Mandalorians. This culture has run through the family for eons, with Vizsla's having always been incredibly proud of who and what they are, this carries through the only living blood relative of the Vizsla's. Valerie despises outsiders more than anything, believing if you were not brought up as a Mando, you were less than worthless. This hatred carries over to Force Users especially. Valerie much like every "true" Mandalorian see's the force not only as a crutch, but a cowards weapons. This hatreds of the force extends to not only outsiders, but Mandalorians who use the force as well, as a result Valerie tends to dislike those Mandalorians that use the force, seeing them as traitors to their own culture.
Valerie Vizsla was born as one of the last members of the old clan Vizsla. In a lineage that stretched back thousands of years through wars and battles untold her clan had survived, though only barely. The last remaining son of Vizsla was a man named Aloric, Valerie's father. Clan Vizsla after the unfortunate events of the Death Watch had nearly been eradicated, surviving only barely for years on end by adding fledgling Mandalorians to their ranks.
The clan survived on the moon of Concordia for as long as they could, weathering everything from constant harassment to the Gulag Plague until finally, only a few remained.
Aloric, his wife, and twin children lived on Concordia in peace, Aloric being a wandered and a hunter. His children Valerie and Vince were as many Mandalorian fathers his pride and joy. The two grew up following their father in everything, learning as best they could. One day, after Aloric had left on a hunt, Vince in his hubris decided he was old enough to follow his father. Foolishly the young boy boarded a craft of unknown wake and subsequently crashed it, killing him. When Aloric returned he was bewildered and devastated to find his only son dead.
Being the man he was Aloric carried on for Valerie and her mother, though he was never quite the same. One day however he returned, a small child in tow. The girl he brought was Valerie's age, and was named Bestala. As was Mandalorain tradition the girl was adopted into the family quite swiftly, taking the place that Vince had once filled and becoming a sibling to Valerie.
The two accompanied Aloric on hunting trips quite often, they and the clan searching for big game to skin and sell on the markets in order to make a living. The two young girls seemed to not only excel in the hunt, but out distance even the older men. The two were dubbed protege's and praised for their skill.
Not all went well for the group as tragedy befell Bestala and Valerie. On a frontier world, Aloric and the group found themselves up against heavily armed mercenaries. The brutal fight had cut Bestala and Valerie off from the rest of the group. They managed to escape to the group's starship. It was then that a mortally wounded party member caught up with them and described the carnage - claiming that all others had died in his passing breath. With Aloric presumed dead and just Bestala at her side, the two left the planet in grief in order to find a new purpose.
The two sisters eventually reformed Clan Vizsla, they found great success as Mercenaries, fighting for whoever would pay the most. Finally, after years of work the two sisters and their Clan were able fund their first campaign.
