SPECIAL FEATURES:
Modeled on the flight suits used by the Galactic Empire late its tenure, the suits are made of a fitted kind, slightly looser than bodygloves but more form-flattering than other styles of flight suits. Designed for rigorous use and to withstand a number of environmental concerns and durable against several types of damage and wear and tear, the VFS has several advantages, including:

STRENGTHS:
- High-performance ultralight materials provide terrific comfort and durability, making it ideal for long-term use and wear.

WEAKNESSES:
- Has very little resistance against lightsaber-type weapons and is only resistant to small arms fire, it can’t take a direct hit from very powerful weapons.

- Only minimal resilience against biological threats, i.e. while it will block odors, it won’t prevent sickness or biological contaminations.
DESCRIPTION:
This one-piece jumpsuit, modeled on the type worn by Imperial pilots at the conclusion of the Galactic Civil War, is made of several closely-woven layers of material, aimed at providing a resilient and comfortable flight suit, able to be worn for long periods of time and amid a variety of situations and conditions.
For pilots, spending hours at the helm of their ships, an ill-fitting flight suit can be a distracting and unpleasant experience to say the very least. The VFS 3.0 is meant to solve this problem, as it is fitted to its wearer to provide a comfortable yet flattering garment, capable of being worn over Vagabond Survival Suits and Armor Kits without being cumbersome or confining. Reinforced ‘impact’ areas and lightweight high-performance materials provide terrific resistance to a variety of punishments, from environmental conditions to small arms fire to EVA situations, the VFS is made to keep its wearer alive amid the most rigorous and challenging circumstances.
Its stealth-enhancing material can mean the difference between life and death, freedom and capture for a downed pilot or ‘dismounted’ operative, able to negate light and sound effects to permit stealthy, silent movements, and the cleverly hidden inside pockets are lined with baffleweave, preventing discovery of concealed items by most handheld and low-grade scanners, security sensors, weapons detectors, etc.
Offering no resistance against sonic attacks, Force abilities, and only very low resistance to biological threats to high resistance to small arms fire, this is not battle armor. Instead it is a durable, practical, and potentially life-saving garment meant to help ensure pilots’ survivability.
