STRENGTHS

• Storm their Lines: The Uzstafas Combat Suit lives up to its name by providing premier protection in most environments and even while under heavy fire. The armor itself boasts a formidable defense due to careful plating and an armored body glove that keeps the wearer flexible and maneuverable without sacrificing protection, with an emphasis on defense against more physical projectiles such as shrapnel and slugs. A Serjek Vambrace shield gauntlet gives the armor even greater defense and allows it to effectively protect against shots from even the heaviest of handheld blasters.

WEAKNESSES

• Shields Up: While the armor itself does come with respectable protection from its plating and body glove, the Serjek Vambrace is in no small part responsible as the first and main line of defense. It is also the only part of the armor that possesses any real protective capability from lightsabers or higher powered blasters, making it a vital component against heavier armed opponents. Due to this a damaged or otherwise misplaced shield gauntlet means that the armor itself does lose a key component of its function.

DESCRIPTION
With the Sith Order's Inquisition falling out of their control, at least in an organization sense, the standard armor of the Inquisition's troopers so too largely fell out of the hands of the Order of Wonosa. While they did still have some stockpiles of Inquisition assets and equipment the ability to produce them on any meaningful scale was lost and as they represented an organization no longer tied to them the engineers and industrial minds of the Order set to work on making a newer armor that could fill the same role. The need for a dedicated armor to use in urban warfare and for garrison and security forces was just too great to ignore.

The Serjek Vambrace did help alleviate the lack of a proper medium armor somewhat but a replacement for the Inquisition's equipment was still direly needed as the Wonosan focus began to shift more towards population centers rather than desolate backwaters. The Uzstafas Combat Suit is the spiritual successor to the ITA-01, featuring a similar design philosophy in an armor that could be used by security forces and in urban combat without the need for much modification or specialization.

The Vambrace would become an integral component in achieving the desired level of protectiveness without weighing down the armor with additional plating. Basic environmental protection in the form of insulation and a rebreather were already common among Wonosan armor designs, along with the somewhat sophisticated comm-unit that would allow for squads to keep in touch with one another without fear of enemy interference or interception even across large urban centers or otherwise dense surroundings. Shrapnel and slugs were another consideration that were countered by armoring the body glove and dispersing the plating more effectively across the suit itself, giving it enviable protection from nearly all common battlefield projectiles.
