STRENGTHS
Force-Eater: As a Dashade of his caliber, Utekesh has a formidable resistance to attacks from the Force. This does not mean that he is immune to Force-based attacks, but it does mean that Jedi and Sith would need to modify their tactics to take him down.
Shadow Killer: As one of the survivors of Urkupp, he spent many of his years as one of the infamous Shadow-Killers. He has the skills to track, stalk, and combat wielders of the Force and eliminate them.
WEAKNESSES
Code of Honor: This Dashade comes from a time where his code could be seen as archaic. Things like only fighting combative opponents, ritualized justice, succession, etc. This adherance to the old ways frequently clashes with those in Black Sun who are more pragmatic and modern in their approach.
Crack in the Armor: Utekesh, like other Dashade, tend to be bulky. While his raw power can be devastating at times, an opponent with agility can out pace and overwhelm him. Additionally, his Force resistance only covers physical attacks. He is just as vulnerable as anyone else to assaults on the mind such as illusions, precognition, and sensory tricks.
HISTORY
Utekesh Gnalm is one of the legendary Thirty-Eight Dashade Shadow Killers—elite hunters who once served as retainers to an ancient Falleen noble house. When disaster erased much of the Dashade’s world and scattered their people, the Thirty-Eight survived off-world and were treated as priceless, dangerous relics: too valuable to waste, too feared to leave unbound. To preserve them for the moments that truly mattered, they were sealed in cryogenic stasis, meant to be awakened only when the House invoked the old clauses of service.
Over generations, the Falleen line that held claim to Utekesh transformed with the galaxy. Royal influence became social influence, then economic leverage, then underworld power—until the “House” expressed itself through syndicate networks and Black Sun ties. Utekesh’s service was not framed as employment, but as bequest: an inherited obligation written into tradition and contract language meant to outlive governments, wars, and changing flags. He did not belong to a person; he belonged to the continuity of the line—and to the oath that defined him.
Recently, that oath was invoked again. Utekesh was awakened into a modern galaxy to serve
