Height6’1 ft
Weight203 lbs

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Decently tall and wearing a litany of hard earned-scars, Uriel has a build befitting a lifetime shoulder, lean but strong, though as time steeped in darkness has continued, he has grown more gaunt, though not disturbingly so as of yet. His sandy blonde hair is kept short and his face clean shaven. Uriel’s eyes are a pale shade of green that some find discomforting.

INVENTORY

A single-bladed crimson Lightsaber, Vibroknife, protective armor, a number of smaller blades to be used as projectiles.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Uriel was once a man of strong convictions and beliefs, dedicated to the preservation of his way of life and those he loved. The tides of time have washed the bastions of those beliefs, both things and people, away. The galaxy’s constantly shifting slate of factions and ideologies has deeply instilled the belief that no act, no matter how good or evil, truly matters. Disorder and chaos are the only constants in his mind, and all are slaves to them in the end/ He is not cruel for its own sake, but he is a decidedly angry man, filled with resentment for the galaxy and the age of impermanence he was born into.

His allegiance to the Sith Empire was possibly born of the belief that only overwhelming force could stabilize the galaxy, however if that were the case it certainly no longer is. Uriel is dependent on the Dark Side, for strength, for vitality, for purpose, and the notion of forsaking it is far more frightening to him than death. There is little ambition to him, he has shown no interest in greater power beyond that which he can implement on the field of battle.

The clash of blades and the spilling of blood have become among the only things that still make him feel. He seeks combat with any he can find, but does so in accordance with a rigid, self-imposed sense of honor.

STRENGTHS

  • Uriel is a skilled and dangerous close combatant, utilizing a hybrid of Juyo and Aratu. He uses the combination of agility, speed, and aggression to overwhelm his opponents before they can mount a defensive.
  • His skill with telekinesis and force body are incredibly potent, and frequently used in his attacks.
  • Though likely to never see use, Uriel has an excellent handle on small unit tactics and is a proficient rifleman. Holdovers from another life, long forgotten.

WEAKNESSES

  • Uriel is a rigid, un-pragmatic man. He believes in fair fights and tests of strength, making him vulnerable to underhanded tactics.
  • Without any goals or ambitions to speak of, Uriel makes for an easy pawn in greater schemes, often to his own extreme detriment.
  • Uriel is a powerful wielder of telekinesis, and likely could harness something like Sith Lightning with enough effort. However, he lacks the natural affinity for more exotic and arcane abilities.

HISTORY

Uriel Rykard was once a simple man, a soldier in an army that fought for the good of its people. They failed, and he sought vengeance in the ranks of another, and in doing so they toppled his old foe. But the foe returned with a new shape, and his people fell once again. He fought again and again, the battles different, but the wars the same, until every little thing that had made the man what he was had been ground away into nothing. When he was born, where he was from, who he fought for, is all hidden away, if he even recalls is unclear.

At some point, he and a number of others with fledgling connections to the force set out on a great journey to try and bring order to the galaxy by seeking power beyond it. Whatever this ambitious voyage’s goal was, it failed, and those that returned from it were steeped in the power of the dark side. They fell onto one another in a frenzy of blood drunk madness until only one, Uriel, remained.

He came into the fold of the Sith on his own accord, for his own reasons. Perhaps he believed they’d be the only ones to use him as the mad dog he had become, and that he would simply fight until he was dead. Yet he lives still.
