Unusual Mercenaries

Salis hummed to herself a bit of a tune as she flew her ship into Naboo, flying low as she closed into her employers designated location. Weapons, that's what she was carrying. Quite a few of them, mostly laser rifles. Very useful, both for mining and combat. Though for combat they were typically used by snipers, at least that's what she was told. She landed the ship down on the landing pad, walking out fairly quickly, covered in her usual armor. Had her droids stay behind but kept a comm link open for them, just in case. The cover for the place would begin to close over a bit, though the barred walls were still out. Perhaps just a security measure, hopefully. There was some other cargo around here it seemed, including a rather large one she saw.

She stepped out to meet the man who had two magna guards next to him, along with the rest of his security force which kept their distance. "Here's your stuff." she said opening up the cargo hold with the weapons on repulser lifts, which he gestured for men to take out, smiling all the way through. Man were people weird.

"Now the money." She said simply, he nodded and they started walking away. However with her last in line, they suddenly dashed out the gate and shut it behind them locking it quickly, "Oh, guess we let out someone we shouldn't have. Whoopsy. Have fun you two I've got a ride to catch." He said suddenly before shouting at his people to get moving.

She turned around as she heard a growl,
"Holy-" The Tarentatek lunged towards her snarling, a massive creature. She leapt out of the way and tried firing at it from above. The thing was quite heavily armored. "Freaking heck where's the roof controls?!" She shouted heading into a roll to avoid a swipe of it's claw and throwing a stun pearl at it. The creature seemed to feel the pain, but those were way too small to do any real damage. "Crap crap crap." She repeated using the walls to leap off and out of the way again. She needed that roof open or a door as soon as possible.

Teak was responsible for cleaning the windows. It wasn't the most glamorous job but it helped his mother feed him and his siblings. He was humming mildly to himself, fixed into a harness that let him dangle from the roof to wash the glass and other materials there. There were people below him but he ignored them until they got loud and a bang caught his attention.

He watched a female narrowly avoid an attack and roll a weapon out. She kept looking upwards so Teak felt she must need the roof open. He shimmied over to the button and pressed the emergency release. Immediately the roof began to slide away but unfortunately he had not calculated what that would mean for his harness. A second latter he was pushed off the latch, as the metal slid away, and was falling downwards towards [member="Salis"]

Salis gritted her teeth as she saw one of her blaster shots reflect off one of the bars. Ray shields maybe, the lightsaber wouldn't work. That just made things several times worse. She leapt to the side again barely avoiding another swipe, dang this creature was big, and fast. Practically immune to the force. Why do people get to just have these things?!

She heard movement, glancing up. The roof was opening! Yeah! Perfect, someone must have opened it! She started rushing towards her ship, now that it was up it might be safe to get...a presence, a fall. She glanced up again, some furry thing was falling. Why exactly she now found herself jumping off the ship instead of going straight in...oh well. She pushed off reaching out to catch the Amaran quickly so she could go into a roll and rush inside the ship, "Get us off the ground NOW!" She ordered, not caring if it was the Astromech or the police droid that did the work, and flicking a finger to shut the door behind them.

The Ship would lift off quickly to try and avoid getting comped on by the creature, only then would Salis actually get the chance to try and look at the Amaran.
