Phobos
Hot Headed
Phobos had never really been bothered by anyone before. For that reason, when individuals began to chase her down the streets of Daiyu she really had no choice but to run. It wasn't that they themselves could hurt her, but rather something they carried. It was dark, and even being near that presence made her core pulsate with strain. She had tried to call out to the Bendu for aid. He did not respond.
She had no idea that they were corralling her. The thugs were organized, moving Phobos through the streets with coordinated precision to guide her into one particular alleyway. She must have stepped on a trip wire of some kind, because a cage came up below her and locked her up like a canary. When she went to touch the bars, her hands burned and began to crumble, prompting her to swiftly pull them back. Sith holocrons were haphazardly strewn about the outside of the cage. Whoever had made use of them seemed to have little regard for the knowledge within. They saw them merely as a source of dark power. It rendered Phobos all but useless.
"The witch-thing is fast," one human man grumbled as he made his way up to the cage.
He struck it with the butt of his rifle, making Phobos squeak and tumble backwards into the bars. The darkside energy surged into her, and when she cried out in pain the air turned a bitter cold.
"Watch it, moron!" a Zabrak woman who was clearly the leader chastized. "You remember what Lord
What was she even supposed to do in this situation. Plead for her life? Phobos tried to muster up the words, but she didn't have the strength to speak. Her body trembled, weak from the darkness that surrounded her. Worse so, she was terrified. The hood over her head that concealed her flame did little to shroud her fear. Whatever she may have wanted to do, the Ashspawn was left paralyzed.
"She don't look like much," the man huffed. "This thing is supposed to have infinite energy?"
"She's made of the chit," the Zabrak remarked. "You see how she burned away when that black magic stuff touched her? Boss said it would work cause she was the exact opposite or somethin, made of pure energy. Cold fusion in a walking thing. All you gotta do is pluck the heart out..."
By now the rest of the thugs had caught up, making for seven in total. They all loomed around her like vultures, their forms half shrouded by the darkness of the alleyway. Whatever had caused this, it was clear that somebody knew what Phobos was, knowledge that was even beyond her. The answer to that question she had always had seemed to make her valuable in the worst kind of way...
The kind that felt like it was gonna get her locked away forever.
