The Unkajah's origins traced back to those vending machines that sold food on the go that existed across the galaxy. As easy to use and replenish as these vending machines were, the Unkajah was somewhat modified to hold ammunition clips for both slug-based ammunition and energy weapons. However, there is only a finite amount of ammunition that the Unkajah could hold, and as a result, it may require frequent replenishment if an Unkajah unit is placed in a high-traffic area, especially if the area is dangerous. Finally, if the machine's local market conditions are such that power-pack ammunition is what sells most, and, as a result, is loaded mostly, if not entirely, with power packs or blaster gas, firing at its merchandise could cause the machine to provoke a large explosion.
