A subsidiary of NAKAIOMA, United Agriculture is a privately held galactic food corporation headquartered on Chandrila. One of UA's major business practices is the trading, purchasing and distributing of grain, and other agricultural commodities, and the raising of livestock. The production of feed, and food ingredients such as starch and glucose, vegetable oils and fats for application in processed foods and industrial use. Owning several sizable AgriWorlds across the Colonies, Expansion Region, and Mid Rim, United Agriculture is responsible for a large portion of the food, and food ingredients being sent to the Inner Rim, and Core Worlds, producing significant quantities of basic food products per square kilometre due to its extensive use of vertical farming towers, with many UA owned AgriWorlds, or properties on other worlds being full of these farming skylines. While it also invests highly into agricultural biotechnology, to further refine, and optimise the quantity, and quality of food it can produce.
Maintaining its own separate financial services subdivision, having resisted efforts for it to be integrated into Nakaioma Capital's infrastructure, due to the already well-established functions, and scale of the operation. United Agriculture Financing is responsible for the management of the corporation's assets, and market investments, along with providing risk assessment services for independent farms, and other food-related businesses. Due to the sensitive nature of the supply and distribution of food in a time of galactic turmoil, and geopolitical uncertainty, United Agriculture maintains several officially distinct, but de-facto unified branches, including but not limited to United Agriculture Imperial, United Agriculture Concord, and United Agriculture Confederacy. With each of these technically separate entities managing the greater corporation's assets in the territories of each, the main entity is located within Alliance space.
Working closely with Nakaioma Planetary Design, United Agriculture also provides environmental related services for independent entities, such as risk assessment for appropriate locations for the establishment of farms, and limited terraforming services for worlds which can grow little crops on their own. Likewise, UA also extensively employs the services of NSS, and even national governments in-order to guard their own real estate, and AgriWorlds from would-be outside threats, in-order to ensure the continuing security of a large portion of the galaxy's food supply. Out of all of Nakaioma's primary business units and subsidiaries, United Agriculture is perhaps the most independent of them all, as by the time it was acquired, it was already an incredibly large corporate entity on its own. This inherently successful business model has since given UA largely free reign in determining its own operations, but with the backing of Nakaioma now.

Inherited from his father, Szuko Nakaioma, when he unexpectedly passed away. Saro Nakaioma took the reigns of the massive conglomerate as CEO at the age of 38. Where his father was a steady hand, never wanting to unnecessarily rock the boat, in-order to ensure the conglomerate's continued longevity, in the face of an unstable galaxy. Saro had an opposite view of the situation, seeing the chaos that was enveloping everyone and everything as a means to the Nakaioma Conglomerate's growth. Investing heavily in new projects, and innovations in all sectors of their business, and even expanding into new ones. He has become a popular figurehead for the brand name, and is well liked, and feared-when required, among the core elite.
