UNION INTELLIGENCE COMMISSION
[UNICOM]
[UNICOM]
Trapped in a hostile galaxy and stretched thin, the Eternal Union remnant cannot directly confront its adversaries and win.
To fight a shadow war, we rely on the skill, brutality, and acuity of UNICOM--the principal espionage group within the faction.
This is the place for characters who are spies, assassins, directors, analysts, informants, and double agents.
SYNSTAT
“We are saboteurs, spies, killers. The silent watcher and the single shot, and we must all carry the weight of our decisions.” - Agent Kinrath
The Synthesis & Tactics Division (SYNthesiS TAcTics) is responsible for offensive operations within UNICOM. SYNSTAT agents and operatives are versatile practitioners of subterfuge.
Espionage, sabotage, assassination, and terror are utilized to infiltrate and influence nations, hinder our adversaries, and execute the vision of our state. This is what it means to be SYNSTAT.
Touchstones: Cassian Andor, Spectres (Mass Effect), Jason Bourne
OIC
“Every threat is a decision I must act on. Why? Because it all falls apart without me, the whole damn show.” - Lieutenant Dross
The Office of Interference and Compliance is a broad organization that covers everything from counterintelligence to loyalty, analytics, and security within the Eternal Union.
OIC officers think one step ahead, turn obstacles into advantages, and instill loyalty and discipline into the rank & file of UNICOM and the Fleet.
Touchstones: ISB, M (James Bond), Sherlock Holmes
