Tamsin sat alone in the depths of Coruscant meditating before the tree she had planted on the day the covenant took coruscant. As she sat there her eyes closed thinking on the past that had led her to this point. A voice in the back of her mind began to speak to her, as it did the hairs on the back of her neck stood up.

"We have a paradise in a sea of pollution, but it is only the first steps."

First steps to what she wondered, everything she knew about the demon that inhabited her body it only sought destruction. It only wanted to bring an end to all life, no everything in the universe. It thirsted for entropy, the death of this reality for what purpose she did not know exactly. It wanted to live through her, past her, burt it also wanted everything dead. To Tamsin it seemed a bit of a contradiction it sought it's own life but the death of all life.

"Why bring life to this place, if only seek to destroy it all?"

The question rolled through her mind as she spoke out to the demon in her. She wanted understanding but knew well she probably wouldn't get it in the way she wanted.

"Simple people see destruction as destroying a building, killing people, or blowing up a planet. They don't see there is an art to it, those things can be useful in their place. Yet most civilizations do not fall because weapons of mass destruction besieged them."

Tamsin listened to those words Carefully trying to read behind the lines, knowing the demon liked to speak in riddles or confusion. Yet as she thought on those words, she thought about the history she had learned from her sister Darth Anathemous Darth Anathemous . It was true most extinct civilizations didn't die because of some catastrophic event.

"Most civilizations fall because of the apathy and hubris of its leaders, correct?"

She asked the Demon wondering if she was on the right train of thought of where the demon was leading. Did the Demon seek to break down the core and beyond through a slow process of erosion of its leadership?

"Partly yes, but also a lot of civilizations fall to abondance. They have nothing to fight for, nothing to fight over. That is where the apathy comes. The one thing the sith got right is through suffering people grow strong and resilient. Without it they grow weak and fragile, everyone needs something to strive for and the hardships it comes with to survive. If they….."

The demon stopped for a moment, a long pause like it had felt something. Tamsin could feel it too. Her eyes opened and she turned her head to look around the grove the tree she had planted had created. There she spotted them a family of Rodians, two children and what she assumed were a mother and father.

"The first have arrived, more will come." The Demon whispered.

Tamsin sat there for a moment, her orange eyes, just watching the Rodian family as they looked over the grove. Their eyes, though black as coal, still displayed wide wonderment in what they had found so deep. Though they didn't dare remove the rebreather masks they had upon their faces. This deep there was so many toxins in the air that could easily kill a person.

Tamsin thought on why a family would come so deep down, it was a dangerous trek. Especially getting past level 1, the most toxic and radioactive level on Coruscant. Yes, you could bypass it but it was a dangerous route to take. Just to get to the surface of a world that had been buried for hundreds of thousands of years.

Maybe it was the legends of a promised land, a land that didn't exist until this grove was born from the sessile seed she had planted. She watched as one of the children reached out to touch a fruit on one of the plants, only to have their hand slapped away by their mother.

"Go speak to them, tell them it is safe."

The demon spoke to her, which caused Tamsin to pause. A kindness from the demon, but why? Abondance, she remembered, give the people their needs and wants. Give them their garden of paradise and they will grow weak and frail. The demon wanted people to come, wanted them here in place but that couldn't be its end game. It would only bring in sewer dwellers, and this grove could only provide them with food and water at the moment not everything to make them complacent.

As she hesitated, she couldn't see the bigger picture, the demon spoke out to the family using Tamsin's voice.

"Welcome to my grove, the air is safe here. So is the food and water. At the moment it is small but over time it will grow. You are welcome to the food and water if you wish?"

The mother and father gave each other a strange look. They had been through so much and were not the easily trusting sort. They didn't remove there mask just looked at each other and the small woman who had spoken out to them. Yet as they thought on what to say one of the children removed their mask from their face.

"The air is safe mom!" What seemed to be a little girls voice exclaimed as the parents looked down in shocked horror that their child had removed their mask. Even more so that she did not instantly perish. The father instinctively reached his hand around his daughter mouth to try and save her from a threat that did not exist.

"I told you it is safe. You are safe here."

Demon again spoke through Tamsin's voice holding the real Tamsin hostage in her own mind only able to look on. Why this kindness, why to what end she screamed in her own head but no answer came.

Days passed and that one family of four grew into a colony of about twenty people. One act of kindness with evil intent behind started the foundation. Tamsin didn't really understand, she knew what the demon was and what it wanted. This seemed the opposite of that, yet she couldn't help but be happy as she came down to the colony in the grove and was greeted by the people that now congregated there.

They had each carved out their own little areas in the grove and it provided them with enough food and water to survive. Still, it was a rough living this far down. They had what they needed to survive but their lives were far from the comfort that would lead them to the stagnation the Demon so desired them to revert too.

"Your plan doesn't seem to be working."

She remarked to the demon in her head not aware that the demon could wait for eons if it wanted to, to reach its goals. Tamsin saw life as finite; she was mortal after all. So, to her death was inevitable. Yet the Demon didn't see the world that way, sure she was mortal but a mortal that had learned unfathomable ways to escape the grip of the mortal coil that wrapped its hands around one's neck.

"Time." Was all the demon said in response to the girl's inquiry. An Empire of stagnation did not get built in days, weeks, or even months. It could wait all it had was time on its hands until the breaking of the universe.

"They have food and water but that is just surviving." Tamsin spoke to the demon as she watched children playing off in the distance of the grove. As a Human man walked by her and spoke out.

"We are so thankful for your hospitality." He said with a pleasant smile and a slight bow.

"The next step is to get them protection. Make them feel safe here. Food, water, and safety are the first steps. Let us wander out into the sewers and find us some muscle to protect these poor sad people." The words in Tamsin's head from the demon were so laced with poison. The type of ruffians that prowled the swear were the worst of the worst Coruscant had to offer. How could they convince them to protect rather then pillage.

"You are very welcome." Tamsin said trying to return the slight bow, but the Demon tensed up her muscles and would not allow her to bow. Tamsin grimaced trying to fight through it but eventually gave in and let the Demon have its moment. As the Human man went on about his day finally moving along.

"We are above them, because we provide for them child. Now let's go."

Her orange yes lit the dark tunnels of the sewer, as she walked down them. Strange shadows bouncing off the walls as she moved. The demon had gone silent for the moment as Tamsin looked around, not exactly sure what she was supposed to be looking for. Water and ooze dripped from the ceiling and walls and the smell was horrendous.

Yet still she wandered on when she saw a shadow on the wall in the glo of her eyes. It wasn't moving like the rest, it skulked. Sometimes it was there and other times it was not. It brought Tamsin to a full stop, and she closed her eyes causing the tunnel to go completely dark. As she stood there with her eyes closed, she used her ability to sense the force around her.

It wasn't one but three people that had now stopped as the tunnel went dark. She then used the force to heighten her sense of hearing. She focused hard, pushing past the sound of dripping ooze, and past the weird hum these tunnels seemed to have.

As she did, she could the whispers of those that were following her. Her eyes clinched tighter as she tried to focus on the words int hose whispers. There was a conversation going on, it was in common but broken with thick accents. Still, she could make out the gist of the conversation.

Three men talking crudely about the young girl walking through their tunnels. Talking about what they could do with her, or just rob her and leave her for dead. One of them thought Tamsin might be a child given her height. That line of thinking stopped the cruder talk, and it turned to maybe ransom, or selling her to a slaver one of them heard of.

The conversation went on a bit longer, but still, they did not approach. They were torn on what to do because ransom meant she had to have a family. Selling to a slaver meant, she had to have something worth buying for. The three men couldn't decide and so then Tamsin spoke up her eyes still closed.

"I have a better offer if you want to make some credits!" She could feel the men tense up as they now knew she knew they were there in the darkness. "Lots of credits, yet it depends on how many people I can recruit. The more there are, the more credits there is to be had." It sounded counter to reality the words she spoke. Yet there was a plan an idea behind the words. "Or you can keep on your course and I will kill you all."
