Underneath A Sulen Moon

The young woman was still in the process of adjusting to the new time she was in. Being approximately 800 years out of it, things were interesting. Somethings never changed though and that was day to day to life. Sulen quickly fell into that. Waking up, eating, working and relaxing. Luckily when Xaem returned, it was a day off for her and she was at home.

Just waiting on laundry to finish, the work was never done. Sitting on the couch watching some show she only paid half attention to, she looked up when he came in. Their relationship was still rather new, but somehow they fit well together. While he was her master, his missions took him away often enough there was very little training that happened.

She had still to yet to really accomplish much, but practiced every day. Things had slowly started to return to her and she could at least do minor skills. Not speaking as he came in, she figured he would tell her what information he could about his mission. As he spoke, she looked at him with some confusion, but did her best to offer him the comfort he wanted.

"I did not know you had family."

Wrapping her arms around him, Sulen just held him as he cried. When that stopped, she could tell something was happening to him. Nothing she could sense, see or feel though. It would pass and he came back to her. Shaking her head at his question, she continued to hold him.

"Not at all and I thought visions and illusions were something I could do."

His family then would have been similar to her fellow agents of the Empire. Not having much of a memory of her own biological family, Sulen understood his situation far better than many people. If he allowed it, she would gently rub his back as he spoke as a form of extra comfort for him. Soon enough he had put what he felt aside, she had the feeling it would come back though. Unlike her past, he could still do something about this.

"Yes, of course."

Letting him go, when he said they had training, he stood up and walked away. She knew where to meet up and was waiting for him when he was done. Not having changed at all, she was still more comfortable in something similar to a uniform. Going without the dress shirt, her clothes were black and her pale skin made her eyes and tattoo stand out more.

Pacing slightly as she waited for him, she gave him a smile when he reappeared and made no comment on his change. When he ordered her to follow him, she fell into step at his side. When they got to the training room, she watched as Xaem set a pyramid on the floor. Raising an eyebrow when he said the image wanted her to sit, it was a request she hadn't heard, but did it anyway.

"I am lost in this time, so currently do not know any rage or fear. My pain is far in the past that it doesn't matter any longer."
