Because as far as they were concerned there were more important things to do then search and make sure there wasn't anything dangerous down here. They have done the same thing a coup,e of times just abandoning things half way through it is usually how I find old things and work to improve upon them. Here though." She was moving and leading the way down into the lower levels and rooms while she was moving stopping at one of the corridors that was filled with crates and equipment. "They left pretty much everything in boxes and the deeper into the labs you go well there are places none searched and the people here sealed up most of it. What we are looking for is down here as well." She was leading the way and there was a buzzing at the back of her head while the glow rods illuminated the area.

Satine followed she felt like a trespasser no matter how much she could reconcile certain things about her life they had never been thieves. They worked for everything, "Is this stealing Matsu?"

She had to clarify things in her mind, make sure that it makes sense that her own moral compass pointed in the right direction. It just seemed so odd that they left everything boxed and all. Like something chased them out and they didn't care what was left, and were so scared that they dare not come back for it.

She suddently missed [member="Nolan Detta"] more.

Matsu looked at her. "Ehh" She wavered her hand. "THey were genocidal force users seeking to turn everything in the galaxy into zombie servants so that they could steal all the knowledge within the galaxy and leave it lifeless." They were gone and not coming back, so the stuff they brought to aid in their campaign of terror should be able to be used for a purpose. "I wouldn't say it is stealing but we are searching for things they brought. It was how they snuck their weapons onto worlds throughout the galaxy." Matsu kept moving and looking at the crates she had her attention on a few of the other boxes with more appearing. The different rooms that some of her fellow jedi hadn't managed to get into as her blade came up with a snap hiss and pale silvery blue blade sinking itno the door as it was thicker then she thought at first while slicing deeper and deeper into it. As the door melted away she could smell the scent of burning metal and stale air that show different crates and these ones looked more like artifact crates the old blackguards used while she was moving forward with her hand checking them. Packages notes, tomes and holocrons they had brought with them while she was moving through it and opening them up with the saber slashing at the locks as one opened to show smaller cases and pass keys to the lifts here.

"Nice glow stick" Satine quipped as she watched Matsu cut through the door, understanding Jedi was a difficult task. The traditional lack of emotion or desire to control their emotions troubled Satine.

How could one live unless they cared about someone, something? That required emotion.

Matsu looked at Satine as she gave a grin and was moving. "Thank you." The look going forward into the rooms until she found the lift leading up that was the right one had Matsu wondering. "Alright this will take us up into the main building and we'll be able to search for the crystals." She held her equipment pack at the ready securing the little flap that was the false bottom with the small holocron she found as well as some map coordinates before opening the door and heading inside. "Ready for sneaking around?" She was more then certain she could white current them inside but always best to have a back up plan and that was be sneaky."

"I'm always ready for sneaking around, last I knew it was one of the few things I did best" She smiled and nodded to follow Matsu, she hoped in some ways that the found the crystals quickly but in other ways she wanted it to go slowly.

Take their time searching, feeling out what else might be hidden here among the empty rooms of the long forgotten.

Matsu looked at her and gave a nod of agreement to that as they were heading up the lift. Her small hood coming up to conceal her while she was focusing the force with a small grin to hide them. The most basic of stealth was simply mind tricking them into not seeing you and she could pull that off without bending the light or the white current, they'd be avoiding the camera's as the lift rose up into a dark room with Matsu moving around. The light dimly illuminating into a back door into a private office from the looks of it as she exited quickly making a note of it and leaving a small slip to get back through before crouching low and hugging the wall as she looked out a window over the city.

If Satine had through this through she would have worn her own stealth gear afterall they were supposed to be shadows. She walked slowly giving Matsu time to prepare the way.

Down on her knees she went as they made their way into the room with windows. They could not be seen, it might cause an incident that neither were prepared or ready to handle. Well they could handle but was it necessary.

Satine kept quiet all the way as she let her instincts fill in the gaps of what was happening.

Matsu felt Satine and was moving with her attention on the world around her. Life signs and the hum of electronic tech for cameras as well as the sensors. Slowly her eyes were falling on one of the rooms opening it while she slinked inside. Along the wall were cases of thousands of crystals and Matsu pointed with her fingers towards the desk. "There might be a system over there to unlock them, or we'll work on the control pads."

Satine moved over to the desk to look for a control panel, sliding her fingers along the desk she felt for it. Nothing. She looked to Matsu, then a thought. She looked for a button to open the desk for controls.

A small red light gave her the thought, she passed her palm over it. It blinked. once. twice. And then the facade for the desk faded and revealed the panel. Nice she thought. "I have the panel, interested in one imparticular box?"

Matsu was looking at the boxes and she was thinking about it. "This one has the stones we need." She was reading off the number on it for the console while going over the other cases just in case and one caught her eye as she was feeling something from it more. There were other trophies within it that looked like tattered robes as a broken saber was there and she could make out the image of an older holocron. A cube with metal and white sides as she spoke. "The stones and this, it looks like an ancient jedi holocron but it is older."

Satine entered the numbers into the panel once the system processed it released the hold where the object of Matsu's desire lay. She had to keep the system thinking just a little while longer.

Then there was the security codes that fluttered and changed, "someone still watches this place" It might be Jedi, it might be some of the folks that were around them, but either way they'd know someone was in the system.

"Well grab what we need and let's get out of dodge"

Matsu gave a nod of her head as the cases opened and she was moving, one hand grabbing the ancient holocron while the other lifted at the stones with the force and she was loading up a bag of what they needed. Enough to work on the armor and for them to use the machines in her labs to produce more of them. Armored bodygloves able to bend light around them and it wasn't a high powered stygium unit while she motioned for Satine to fill her own bag and secured it over her back. The windows and bullding were starting to be a little to confining as she waited with the other shadowguard letting her hands glow to create a small illusion to conceal them more.

Satine moved over to the cases and began to fill her bag with the crystals needed hearing the tiny clink of the crystals as they laid one upon the other. She hoped that they would do exactly what Matsu believed. As soon as she had the bag filled she moved back to the panel, "Ok I'm closing it up, you ready?"

A single nod would close the cases and they would make their way out of here.

Matsu gave her a nod that she was ready and moving with them able to move in a bubble of the white current that was concealing them from the view and senses. She was moving with one hand up while moving around the ones there so Satine could be near her and she motioned with her head to the doors and lift. A way down as the music in the lift was playing and she bobbed her head speaking. "THis is a nice song."

"Beats the dirge music they played on Bastian" She nodded, she wasn't fond of Bastian it often ran on her nerves. The dirge it was sad, dull, and made you want to run away. She smiled. "i'm glad we got what was needed."

Now she just wanted to be sure they got off the planet safely.

Matsu was looking at her and had to agree, bastion was always so down and in the dumps as she was running her hands through her hair. The small crystals in the back while she was giving a nod of her head. The lift continuing to head down and the doors opened as Matsu was keeping them concealed from sight and sensors with the doors openign and some people getting in as they had plnty of space to move but still going towards the ground floor and souunds of their conversation were there.

Satine became still very still, shadow still. This was after all what they were shadows. She just gave Matsu a look that would tell her what she was doing. Even as the people moved towards them Satine, never moved.

Her feet remained in the same position as she breathed shallow breaths. She watched them, to make sure they did not get too close, how much longer was needed for them to hide?

Ever closer to discovery, and that might be painful.

The elevator dropped three more floors.

Matsu remained as they got to the bottom level of the building and with the doors opening he people exited. Going towards the entrance while Matsu was securing the way for them to get out before more people came and she was motioning. They were shadows but also in the white current that could keep them hidden while she was going towards the display cases in the lobby with a smile on her face. Matsu waited for the time and got outside as she was dropping it with her attention on Satine pointing to the bags they had and the crowd they could walk through as she clasped her hand sin front of herself. "You ready to go home?"

Satine nodded yes she was ready to go home, she was tired. The journey had taken a lot out of her and made her realize that she was out of shape, and out of touch. She needed to get back into it.
