Under the Stars

Antares walked out of the cantina with his arm around a woman's waist. It was, @[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"], she was quite beautiful he had to say, but that wasn't the reasoning for him walking her out onto a beach in the setting sun. The sun was still a little hot, but it was cooling down as their feet went through the sand, he was already sitting down to look at the water and he beckoned to Adelaide to do the same. "This is fine of course?" He asked with a smile. Of course it was fine.

"What do I do for fun? Well...I mostly practice to make myself a better warrior I suppose." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. He never really thought of what he did for fun, there wasn't a lot of time for that really. Though..."Helping you be happy is fun." He said with a raised brow as if asking himself where that question had come from. It was true though, helping people was something that the Jedi Knight quite enjoyed. It brought a certain satisfaction to seeing someone happy after they were helped with their problems.

Adelaide wasn't one to just allow anyone to put their arm around her waist. Normally she would break someone's arm for touching her without permission but not tonight. "It's beautiful," she smiled at him as she took a seat next to him in the sand. It had been awhile since she had done anything like this just sit by the water and talk. It was really nice actually to just relax and he was quite easy to talk to.

"I enjoy training to be better just like most but I don't consider it the only fun I have though I do enjoy it. I do other things too like cook and come out here to relax. The better question maybe what do you do in your free time? Do you get free time or are you always busy helping other?" It could be possible that he didn't have time because he was training others. She heard the Jedi were very strict and they were all work. "I'm glad your having fun, I would be sad if you weren't."

@[member="Antares Windu"]

The dark skinned Jedi Knight listened intently. "I do help people quite frequently, though just...living is fine I think." He smiled slightly after he said that. "And don't be sad," he was grinning now, "the point of this is to make you happy." He nodded his head with the same smile upon it. @[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"]

"I think part of living is doing things that you want to do, that make you happy. You say making others happy is what makes you happy but deep down inside I bet there is something you want for yourself and there is nothing wrong with that." Adelaide was in no way a philosopher she just thought maybe apart of him may be doing this make people happy thing because he was a Jedi. No two Mando's were alike so she figured that no two Jedi were alike. She was sure of that.

"I have learned that sometimes you just need to stop and smell the roses. I have learned that quite recently actually to not take everything so seriously." A smile smile appeared on her face as she sighed and looked out onto the water. She loved how the moon shone down upon the water making it glow in the night sky. This place for her was very peaceful.

@[member="Antares Windu"]

He nodded his head in agreement with her. "Perhaps." He said with a knowing smile, and he turned his head away from her to look out at the ocean. "I mean...I want to help you...But I hear Mandalorians have jetpacks..." His head rotated upon his neck and he looked sidelong at her again. "Are jetpacks Mandalorian's only, or can I get one too?" He felt as if he dodged her question quite successfully, but who knew what else she had in store? He wasn't good at seeing the future unless it was in combat. And even then, it was close calls most of the time.

"I guess roses are nice and all too..." There was a joking tone to his voice, while he spoke.

@[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"]

If he didn't wish to answer, that was alright. She wasn't going to pressure him into answering her questions if it was uncomfortable for him. Adelaide truly wanted them both to be having fun tonight. It was just nice for her to have someone to speak with. She was glad and grateful for that.

""I do have one at home. I don't use it as much anymore however it's still there. If you want one I'm sure I could scrounge around and find one for you but do you need it? I heard some Jedi can fly. That could just be a rumor but that's what I hear. You can't fly can you?"

It was a silly question but it was at least not the question or thought she had posed before. It was also legit in her mind as Adelaide hadn't exactly spoken to a Jedi before today. She was quite curious plus since he was dodging her other questions she thought these were better.

""Yes, flowers are nice.."

@[member="Antares Windu"]

He shook his head slightly. "I don't know if any Jedi in the past or in the current day could fly, but it might be possible if you were powerful enough with the telekinetic aspect of the Force." He didn't really know, and he laid backwards in the sand, his hands strewn out to either side behind his head. "But no, I can't fly." He had never really thought of it, if truth be told.

"I could get you flowers. I mean, the Jedi Order has it's knowledge of wild life. I can find you specific flowers." There was a charming smile on his face, though it was quite evident he was 'hitting' on her.

@[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"]

"If they could that would be something. I'm sure though even though you can't fly you still have other abilities that are just as cool," she nodded laying on her side next to him in the sand. She figured that flying was just a story that she heard heard but it never hurt to ask. She was sure he had better tricks up his sleeves that she had never even heard of before. "If you want to fly I could get you that Jet pack."

She blinked a little at the mention of flowers. Nobody had ever gotten her flowers before not even Tyron and they had been really close. She thought flowers were pretty but she didn't have a specific kind that she liked or a favorite. "That would be nice and maybe I could come and see all the different flowers? I'm sure the Jedi have a beautiful collection." I don't think I have a favorite as of yet but they are beautiful."

@[member="Antares Windu"]

He had to be straight forwards here. This was a Mandalorian woman, a warrior, and someone who was quite kind at the same time. He couldn't screw this up. "You are beautiful." He said. There was no charm, no sweet talk, just straightforward words. He smiled when he had said it however, he meant it truly and he was certain he wouldn't care too much if she decided to turn him away.

"More beautiful than the flowers certainly."

@[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"]

She could feel her face begin to turn red as he told her she was beautiful. It had been a long time since she had heard those words and from Tyron. It was weird hearing them from another but not in a bad way. Adelaide rather liked it actually and she ought to move forward with her life. He would want that for her, he would want for her to be happy. The young woman still wasn't sure if she was ready however though she did like @[member="Antares Windu"].

Sighing she turned to lay on her back. "The person I lost was my fiancé. He died about a year ago and even now it tears me up inside. I don't know where to go or what to do with myself. I thought drinking would help me drown my sorrows which it does but it's not good for me. Talking to you is nice, I like it. It's really nice actually." There she had gotten it all out there on the table. He should know how broken she was.

@[member="Antares Windu"]

He nodded his head in understanding of her, while he turned on his side to look at her. "May I?" He asked and he cupped her chin in his, and smiled warmly. "I will be there for you." The smile was still on his face and he pulled her to him so that he was able to press his lips onto her own.

It probably wasn't the best course of action, but he couldn't help himself. He may have been a Jedi, a Jedi Knight even, but he was still human. Besides, Luke Skywalker wanted future generations of Jedi to actually experience their emotions and not lock them up. To a degree of course, and that degree was love, and baring children.

@[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"]

The kiss was very surprising and unexpected. She didn't think that Jedi showed their emotions and even if they did she didn't expect this at all. Adelaide honestly wasn't exactly sure how to react either as a kiss was something she hadn't had for a long time however she found herself leaning into it.

"I..I don't know what to say. Your a Jedi and I am a Mandalorian. I follow our code, laws and I know you follow your." She did like him and she wanted to believe that he would be there even if it just was a a friend but maybe more. She didn't know right now but she wanted to see anymore. "Anyway, ya I want to see the flowers sometimes. You'll take me?" She was lost for words at the moment.

@[member="Antares Windu"]

He smiled, did she kiss him back? He didn't really know, though she didn't object so he only smiled. If he had a paler complexion, he definitely would have been turning red just as much as she had previously when he had complimented her. "I am following my code." He said with that same genuine seeming smile.

"And yes, I will take you. I am certain you will be allowed within the Temple with me as your escort." He chuckled slightly. She should be. There were times in the past when citizens from the public, ((in times of peace of course.)) when they could enter the Jedi Temple upon their own will, and work for the Jedi Order as janitors and the like. Though they didn't only work, some were scholars and read within the archives within the Jedi Temples, though he doubted they were allowed to see the more sensitive areas of the Temple. Such as training facilities and the like.

"Soon I should think."

@[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"]

"Oh really?" She had not the slightest clue if he was or not. She didn't have his code memorized but it didn't matter to her. @[member="Antares Windu"] made her smile for the first time in a long time and the kiss wasn't half bad either. Leaning over she gently kissed him on the cheek.

"I promise to behave myself there. It's not as if I would invade your home. I just want to learn more about you. If your lucky I'll take you to my home and show you around." She wanted him to see where she grew up and all of it. "I have brothers too but well I may not subject you to them."

@[member="Antares Windu"]

Antares nodded his head in agreement to her first question. "Yes, the first Grandmaster of the Jedi Order of the New Jedi Order wished for future generations to have actual relationships within or out of the Order." He smiled at her and kissed her on the lips again.

After that, he said, "I will make sure you do behave yourself." The joking grin was present upon his face again. "I thank you for not subjecting me to your brothers." He chuckled softly. "What is wrong with them?"

@[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"]

"Well, I'm not sure they would approve of someone out of the order. My three older brothers all married Mandalorians and have their own family. My family is quite well old school if that makes sense. I'm not sure whatever this is they would understand." She wished to be truthful with him about everything. He deserved to know it all not because she was trying to push him away but instead just didn't want to hurt him. He ought to better know what he was getting himself into when it came to her. It wasn't like any of this would be easy.

"I didn't know that the GrandMaster had changed things. I think it's a good thing though I mean hiding ones emotions isn't a good thing but showing mine is what got my love killed. They knew my weakness and they knew taking him away from me, going after him was the best way to hurt me. He was the best warrior I knew." Sighing she closed her eyes for a moment trying to process everything. She was thinking about it all far too much for her liking.

She did at some point in her life wish to settle down and have a family of her own. The first thing she needed to do though was stop running and go back home. "Where are the Jedi from anyway? Like what planet?"

@[member="Antares Windu"]

Antares smiled when she spoke. The Mandalorians were a culture he didn't really understand. The only thing he truly knew was that the Mandalorians had used to be nomads and travelled the galaxy, their worst enemies were the Sun Guards, and centuries past when they had fought the Jedi, many Jedi had died.

"Quite a family." The smile remained. He wasn't really sure what to do at this point. "I am certain they will understand," he said in reply to her points about her family.

"The Jedi are from Tython. It is our spiritual home." His brow furrowed slightly. "I can't really explain it." Less of he didn't know how, and more of not wanting to. There would be no point in explaining it unless he would be going into complete detail of how the Jedi Order came into existence.

@[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"]

"Yes, I have not seen them in a long time. Can I ask a question and be bold. This thing, us what is it?" She smiled leaning in to kiss him. "I want to see more of you and see where this takes us. I want to learn more about the Jedi and I want to teach you about my culture."

She paused for a moment to take a breath. She was interested to see what he had to say about all of this. Adelaide didn't want to get ahead of herself and assume things.

@[member="Antares Windu"]

"I don't know what more of me you want to see." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. "I mean, we will obviously get to know each other more, and a lot better the furthest this goes..." He said slowly. This was probably the first time anyone had had him at an unsure point in time, he really didn't know what was happening here, but he'd still act as if he did, with his confident smiles of course.

@[member="Adelaide Baldesarra"]

"I mean, I want to get to know you more. I guess I'm wondering if you would like to get to know me. That sounds really weird I know but ya. This is fun just laying here relaxing and that." She wasn't sure she was getting her point across that she was well having fun and she would like to talk to him more. Normally she was so sure of herself so this was nothing like her at all.
