  • Manufacturer:
  • Affiliation:
  • Market Status: Closed-Market
  • Model: Umbricore Alloy
  • Modularity: Yes - Limited (Can be layered, alloyed, or rune-tempered depending on intended use, ex. reactor shielding, hull sheathing, etc.)
  • Production: Limited
  • Material:
    • Alchemized Agrinium Base (Radiation-Absorbent Foundation)
    • Bloodsteel Trace Inlays (Ion Energy Conductor)
    • Obsidian Temper Sigils (Runic Containment and Stabilization Seals)

  • Radiation Nullfield Matrix: Absorbs and dissipates all known radiation frequencies, from stellar bursts to reactor leaks, rendering surrounding compartments and occupants immune to harmful exposure. Its micro-lattice refracts radiation inward, then bleeds it as harmless thermal diffusion.
  • Ion and EMP Resilient: The alloy channel ion and electromagnetic energy into inert electrical bleed currents. Systems shielded by Umbricore remain operational even under sustained ion cannon or EMP bombardment.
  • Photon Scattering Layer: The Bloodsteel diffuses visible and high-energy light, giving the alloy a dull, light-eating finish that doubles as passive visual and sensor stealth.
  • Runic Field Stabilization: Sith runes inscribed in Obsidian Temper Sigils continuously stabilize the energy field balance within the alloy, preventing radiation buildup or electrical arcing across high-voltage surfaces.
  • Self-Repair Under Flux: Exposure to radiation or ion surges activates minor self-healing behavior, realigning the carbon lattice to restore integrity over time.

  • Near Total Radiation Resistance: Unbelievably resilient to gamma, neutron, solar, and exotic radiation; ideal for containment cores, deep-space craft, and Sith research facilities.
  • Great EMP and Ion Immunity: Incredibly resistant to electromagnetic pulses and ion weaponry; electronics housed within remain unaffected.
  • Light-Absorptive Finish: Dulls sensor reflections and creates a low visual profile, making it useful for stealth or high-security containment structures.
  • Durability and Longevity: Slow structural degradation, extremely low oxidation rate, and natural stability even in corrosive or irradiated environments.
  • Dark Side Conduction: Channels Sith energy efficiently without interference; ideal for powering ritual or alchemical machinery in high-energy zones.

  • Extreme Heat Sensitivity: While stable under radiation, excessive plasma or thermal damage can soften the alloy's surface layers, requiring cooldown to restore rigidity.
  • Nullification Weakness: While under Force Nullification, Umbricore loses its self-regenerative and adaptive dampening properties, reverting to passive metal shielding, while still superior its at a distinct disadvantage with these qualities suppressed.
  • High Production Cost: Forging requires specialized machinery and immense energy, making production slow and unsuitable to most.

The creation of Umbricore Alloy marked the Kainate's conquest over yet another domain of material science, radiation. Where the galaxy once relied on Agrinium for solar sails and reactor shielding, the Shadow Hand deemed it fragile, a material that merely endured wrath rather than mastered it.

At the command of Darth Prazutis, the forges of Malsheem undertook a project overseen by the Shadow Mind, Agrinium was broken down, atom by atom, and reforged through Sith alchemy. Deep within the core of Malsheem's foundries, metallurgists channeled dark rituals into molten metal while exposing it to raw reactor emissions and controlled ion storms.

The result was Umbricore Alloy, a material that no longer resisted radiation but consumed it. Its molecular lattice bends incoming waves, scattering their energy through Bloodsteel veins that bleed the force into harmless heat. Ion discharges disperse harmlessly through it, and electromagnetic pulses are devoured by it. To the Sith of the Kainate, Umbricore became a symbol of dominion over the galaxy's harshest energies, a living shadow that thrived in light's absence.

In use, Umbricore emits a faint, pulsing hum. Its surface is matte-black, almost lightless, drinking in starlight until it seems to absorb color itself. Deployed aboard the Shadow Armada, it lines reactor cores, starship hulls, and more, ensuring great protection against solar storms, ion strikes, or EMP warfare.

To the galaxy, it is an engineering marvel, but to the Sith, it is an act of defiance against light itself.

Good evening, I just have a few things for you today, Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis

Firstly, I am unsure what these are supposed to be. Could you please link to a relevant article or submission?
Luminphage Carbon Matrix (Photon-Scattering Weave)
Nullflux Veins (EMP/Ion Dampening Channels)

Secondly, I do not see the permission linked to using this manufacturer. Can you please link that in the submission?

Malsheem Hypernautics and Manufacturing

Lastly, can you please link Sith Alchemy on this line for better understanding?

I am sure you have permission to use the company, but as the Company Page does not list you as a partial owner of the company, I will have to see permission from Carnifex, or he will have to edit the Listing to list you as a Partial Owner.

As for the inventions added for flavor, as quoted below, if the materials are not found on Wookieepedia, they will need to be linked. I understand they are meant for flavor, but proper sourcing is still required for clarity.

Material: (What is it made out of? Certain materials are more resistant, or vulnerable to certain weapons. Example: 'Durasteel, blaster components.' If this submission uses materials not found on wookieepedia, please link. You may also be asked to link materials that are obscure or difficult to find, e.g. exist as a byline in wikia entry. )

The issue of ownership has been fixed on the company. As for the materials, they are flavor to the submission and things I fabricated when I wrote this submission, I cant link them to where there is no link, because their sole purpose is to add character to this submission. They have no other effects, or functions beyond being part of this alloy. Is there a way we can work around this? I could make a note in the submission about their nature if that could answer your concerns?

I'll be stepping in here to finish of the approval of this submission.

Thank you for having the changes made to the company.

In regards to the materials that are mentioned, while I understand that they're just fluff, please don't include materials that aren't star wars canon, real life or subbed materials in a submission. The character sense of the submission you're looking for can be achieved with the actual canon materials, or materials that others have created. Please either remove them, or replace them with linkable materials.
