SSV No Return and SSV Little Hope
2x Lictor-class dungeon ship
Current status: Docked together to assist in repairs of the No Return.
Captain Ligan in command

One of the prison ships had been hit with an Ion Storm or at least that was what they had said. Captain Ligan of the Little Hope had made a decision to assist the crew of the beleaguered vessel. The captain had elected a small amount of armed crew members to go and check if the inmates had gotten out or why they weren't receiving more than an automated distress call.

However not soon after docking everything went to hell. Many crew had died or become monsters due to some new chemical they had never encountered before going off and the other ship's crew had not been seen yet. Those who had, well they had been mindless. The generators on both ships had overloaded when joined. Then worst of all this creature who shouldn't exist, a supernatural beast of nature that he had heard was called a Spirit of Auroros had already begun hunting him.

As it got closer it looked like something out of his nightmares. As it lifted him off the floor his blaster not even slowing it down. Even through this maze of ships the creature had still managed to find him. It didn't help, he admitted that the thing could walk through walls. He just hoped when he died the distress beacon would go off for people to burn the ship.

Fortunately as soon as the man's death occurred it did, unfortunately it was already largely broken before it did, as a garbled message was sent across space. Inmates...........crew in need..............assistance. ...............Send Help.............. The proper message would have been Inmates out, dead crew, in need of destruction assistance, don't board no matter who sends for help, Trust no one.

Perhaps you wonder why this had happened well, to tell you the truth. The Fear-Reaper had for months languished in boredom on the Little Hope. He needed out….to play once again…..His toxin had been what had landed him in here. However now? The guards had grown complacent in their cell searches. Suddenly he heard the docking tubes now was the perfect time have two lots of guards and inmates to lead instead of one, he could infect two worlds at once. That fear gas he’d aerosolized in the laundry... would begin as soon as the generators went down…..Truly hell would be unleashed.

Meanwhile on the No Return Spellcaster inmate X13865 had complied with all prison and asylum regulations as such now he had access to the electronics and filing system of the doctors….It wasn't long before he’d made mind-slaves of all the staff which had tortured and abused him. He would run their pathetic meat suits into oblivion….and he was making phoning distress signals and taking other crews for he shall have them all under his control and eventually control a world.

As for the spirit well the unfortunate captain had not always been privy to his cargo and well someone had managed to not only capture but also place one onboard for their next destination in a force containment field cage. Which had been attached to the generator. When it went of the unlucky crew were left to deal with the creature that most had no idea about and those who had well they had lost their minds now.

C-02 always had transmitting range on high, so when something came in of course it made the droid curious. He sent out something to others of the family before going in a small shuttle for the location. The ship made a jump for hyperspace, and the droid had decided to go alone. He would be first, he would see the situation...and if there was anything he could take advantage of here then he would for sure. Yes, he would. Anything to aid him in his little personal inquiries.

The shuttle arrived, and C-02 immediately donned the appearance of an armored human. "Hey, mercenary here. I heard you needed some help here, boys?" The ship headed in, slowly approaching the connected ships. "Hello....anyone?" He waited for a response, keeping a distance from the pair of ships for now.

Lance Claw

Lance didn't have weapons or armour. He had been caught for some reason or another that he couldn't remember. Not long after someone had taken over the guards and prisoners. He wasn't sure who had but whoever it had been had missed him for one reason or another. He needed to get to the armoury maybe collect a weapon and some armour.

As he did he passed engineering which had someone calling out from a comm link. Whoever was in charge had wanted to run everything from engineering or maybe the bridge staff were trying something to assist themselves before being turned. He answered it. "ummm, yes, yes I am here. Please come and help me, I have ummmm no idea what is going on but it's bad."

"The guards aren't themselves and neither are the prisoners. Oh gosh. Just hurry I can hear the sounds of battle not far from me." He would drop the comm link running for the armoury. Most of the weapons and armour were missing. There was a mix match of old storm and clone trooper armour left. It wouldn't do much but it was better than nothing. He managed to find a stun pistol all the dangerous weapons already being used he guessed. He went back to engineering. He hoped whoever it was showed up soon.

I'd been doing travelling recently to find new investors for my club on Triple Z. As it was I was in transit back to Coruscant when I heard the distress beacon come on over the ship PA. Tuning in I isolated the initial transmission and heard another....sounded like a kid scared no less. Well....The Donna would have my head if I ignored the distress call from a live kid. Sighing I activated the comms as the ship came into view.... "Hey kid, give me a little more audio. Describe your surroundings, any information is helpful." Prison ship docked with a repair ship... scanning the repair ship I saw it was outdated as feth...could be a rescue attempt of a prisoner. But if the kid was on the prison ship as well then why was he there?

Initiating docking I headed to the back of my ship and activated the squad of HK droids I'd picked up. "Greetings Master how can we kill for you today?" Shaking my head I realized that the salesman had left things out... Unlocking the armory I handed weaponry out to them DC-15m rifles one apiece. The armory also had portable containment cells disguised as grenades, useful in case inmates had escaped checking over my own weapons swords, bow, quiver stocked pistols racked and second set charged. "Your orders are as follows, two of you are to remain outside the ship on guard. One of you is coming with me the other aboard the ship anyone not tagged with a friendly ID? Kill them, headshots I want them to stay dead if you shoot them."

They looked at each other and said in unison "Acknowledged Master, we look forward to exterminating your meatbag enemies with extreme pleasure." Shaking my I slipped my Talon Mask on and triggered the rebreather and oxygen supply active. Opening the loading bay door I stepped out into the hangar bay with one HK unit and flicked the night vision setting in my mask on. Looked like carbon scoring from blasters and there was blood...trails of it. Lovely. So either something had got out, or in and begun killing....Things could only get more interesting though...

This is what stardust oddly enjoyed doing, going it and rescuing people that needed help...yet the force was screaming at her telling her to turn away and yet it only drew her further in

So here she was, frowning as the crew of the imahalyans light watched towards the ships docked everyone was jumpy and felt nervous...she was so close to turning back and calling for more offical help yet she would only send herself and her two God killer guards both of which agreed something was up, she trusted them as she fought beside him

A shuttle left the hangar and started for the ships going around twice before spotting a open hangar as they slowly sat down and departed as stardust frowned seeing the massive amount of blood

keep on alert, Romero, Sarah on me move slow watch your corners

And away they started

The Golden Dragon/The Executioner
Jade brought everything with her this time not sure what could be there she wanted to have her options, She had a few new toys she hoped to test out as well as her shuttle landed in the same hanger as another associate landed with a couple of her guards a rather attractive green Twi'lek [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"] walked out with two others. She decided to walk over and tag along as she did she double checked if the power supply in her new gauntlets where functional, After she felt satisfied she activated the HUD unit to scan the surrounding areas and keep an eye on everything as she pulled out her Hand cannon and kept it at the ready in case she needed to use them. While she would love to get to know who the lovely green twi'lek was a bit more she had a job to do she can always get to know her later, She had no idea what was happening here only that it was a little creepy as she kept her senses alert and stayed with her new friend rather then venture on her own.

Another had joined her, glancing over eyes scanned the short woman over before nodding seeing she was armed at least

stay close please, I wont have a associates death on my hands

This was technically off the books from the family, didn't mean stardust hadnt took the time to remember some faces here and there and this smaller woman was seen one that could help her in the more sensitive areas of the ships that required a tool rather then the force. Moving further in the scene just got worse with bodies missing pieces or just strawn out over the place with trails of blood leading each way as the God killers moved to the back placing jade between them and star

what a mess...something tells me something on board with us...force I hope it's not rakghouls or we have a dire situation on hand

She said to those with her befor beholding a hand up as she came towards a crouched figure mumbling rather quickly

hello? Are you ok? Oh..oh jeez

The man looked up from the body as he chewed a bit of flesh, he screamed and charged them as the God killers fired from behind star and nailed the man as he fell quickly

you...can you get a message out? We have a severe situation

C-02 heard a transmission come through. And the droid directed towards that ship, giving the distress. Multiple others appeared. Family, or others coming to respond, the droid did not know. But that would not matter. The ship came into landing aboard the No Return, and there the disguised C-02 noticed another there. An organic by the looks of it, human perhaps? The mask blocked any way of knowing. And with them was a HK droid. C-02 let out a dull groan with visions from it's memory banks.

With it's human appearance over it, it approached. "Some ship, huh? You responding too?" he asked, spinning a blaster pistol in hand. "Looks bad, huh? Something big. Break out? Or break in? I'm dying to know right now, aren't you?"

[member="Lance Claw"] @Al-Saher @Graak

I heard comms from another responder.... Speaking into my comms I said "Something got in judging by trails of blood leading from the hangar..... and oh...oh that's very much not good. Got a body, chest cavity ripped open internal organs partially eaten. Board the ship without gear and you may end up dead friend...." Pulling an atmo sensor ball I tossed it in the hall. Readings started coming in and my helm began cross-checking against a database of poisons and chemical agents. I heard....gnawing oh....not good. Suddenly the gnawing stopped....oh that's very not good. Pulling my sword free I readied it as I moved into the corridor, then a shriek as an outline ran at me. Moving to the side I flicked my blade through the neck then backslashed through the legs. The decapitated stump fell and I rolled the head over with my boot..... Oh feth me. I'd heard of these things but never encountered them myself. Reavers. Of course it was, never anything easy.

Looking at the HK droid it said "Clean kill Master, very precise. I'd have simply grabbed his skull and crushed it in hand, pulping meatbag brains is quite therapeutic I find." Sighing I said "run the blood against known bio-weapons. Start from those used by inmates of asylums this man was a guard here judging by his uniform. Means he was exposed to something here and this is what happened. Try to avoid pulping them we don't need to have their blood all over the place too." If an inmate had escaped and introduced this then it was likely airborne, meant they'd have a mask on. I suspected bio-weapon but I wanted to know what kind.....

Little Hope - [member="Jade Isara"] I [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"]

The two women had found themselves aboard the SSV Little Hope. Blooded walls and more than a few corpses lying around. For anyone trying to get word out, they would be able to however it would take too long before any help would be able to assist possibly a day or more to arrive as no one was really in cluster with them. Toxins in the area of this vessel had turned most to rage crazy people who feasted apon others for no apparent reason. However they also seemed to be able to work together in packs with the strongest leading them.

The Fear Reaper was used to his own toxin and was able to take over all the groups and rule them rather quickly. He knew about the creature roaming the area as well but right now it was randomly hunting, it had yet to target him and he was fine with that. However he heard the shots which rang throughout the corridors as the power gird was down and as such all the doors were open. Someone else had come and joined them well they would be food or part of the pack soon enough as he sent out a group of men and women to begin hunting them.

The shots had also gotten the attention of the spirit as it turned and began moving towards it. It would hunt whatever had caused the sound. It would hunt for revenge. As it both groups began their journeys toward the ladies there was an immediate problem of 3 other of these fear creature things turned at the sound and began to advance like wolves on all fours with various weapons in their hands. One had a blaster, another had a pipe wrench and the last had a lightsabre.

They would each run and attempt to attack those who had killed their friend or boss or whatever it was to them. They focused their attentions on the god slayer, the ones who were the most dangerous at least to them.

No Return - [member="C-02"] I [member="Al-Saher"] I [member="Lance Claw"]

The lights within the SSV No Return would switch back on as the generator started by up near lance. Clearly this one hadn't blown out and was switched off to give an eerie appearance and to keep any crew infiltrating on the back foot but given that the other ship was now overrun by fear toxin Spellcaster had decided to seal the docking tube and the only way to do that was to switch back on the power. As power came on Air scrubbers went to work taking out any of the fear toxin left on the ship as the crew who had gotten aboard had already been taken or killed.

The intercom clicked to life as a voice was heard throughout the ship. "Ahhhh more guests and would you look at that I missed one of the passengers well two if you count the one you boys in the hanger killed. Sorry about this but your all stuck here till we can fix you. Shouldn't be too hard." As he said this several prisoners who looked blank came out of the rooms adjacent to the hanger bay to attack those who had landed there and the guy who's chest had been ripped out also got up still blank and began firing at the droid with his blaster.

The intercom would continue "You last prisoner in Engineering don't worry I will be with you soon or you will be with me." The comm unit the prisoner had been broadcasting from to the families comm's would fill with screams and firing as he clearly wasn't going down without a fight before a final sickening crunch and a blast as the comms went silent. "Such a fiesty boy, no matter you are coming to me now." After that it sounded like someone was eating something "Oh sorry, just eating cookies while I watch you two fight your way through my men, can't wait to see what you do." As more crunching was heard.

The Golden Dragon/The Executioner
As the shot rang out killing the mindless person who attacked she heard the sounds of others approaching probably attracted by the sound of the shot as she took out her Tomahawk and started firing into the horde that came at them she embraced what wildside of her wanted to be let out as she fought throwing her tomahawk and hitting the one with a blaster before firing into the heads of a couple others that leaped for her.

I am NOT a meal item nor are you my type to even consider the option.

Was all she said as she lunged her right hand right through the chest of one of the prisoner that tried to go for a swing with there lightsaber, She ripped out her now blood covered gauntlet before shooting into the heads of a couple that went for her from behind. She picked up the lightsaber that the prisoner had and kept it for later before she moved back to [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"] and her guards. This wasn't what she had in mind for a date but not everything goes according to plan even in that department.

[member="Jade Isara"]

One saber and a blaster was out instantly as she started using her westar to pick off ones running at her while a smoke of the saber brought the smell of burnt flesh into the air as she stepped forward able to hold her own agaisnt the oncoming horde

Her God killers stumbled yet stood strong on helping [member="Jade Isara"] firing rounds off with deadly precision, Romero stayed beside stardust and helped her as star growled and inhaled before exhaling flames directing in front of her

we need to move forward! Sarah, Romero, maam, move forward weve got to find a place to hold out and get a communication to someone MOVE to now!

With that stardust was moving forward slicing down any flaming bodies that came near as she growled and fired twice into ones head

What hell had she entered?

Dayne had been headed back from one of her semi-regular galactic stints when she received the distress call.

"Inmates, crew in need, assistance, send help." She let the words roll off her tongue, pondering their meaning. While she typically had no use for prison wardens - she'd been lucky enough to avoid being put in a slammer, but her past associates had less than kind words to say about it - the entire thing sniffed of opportunity. Credit-scented opportunity.

"What do you think, Darius? Should we help them, or let them be taken over?" The little robot woke up from its sleep at the mention of its name, zooming off immediately to go do battle against the pathetic d i r t m o n s t e r s. She stared after him for a moment, drumming her fingertips on the control desk. Eh, maybe she should. If nothing else, it might provide an opportunity to recruit more contacts for the Family.

"Alright little buddy, looks like we'll be lending our assistance."

****
When her ship finally arrived, the Family soldier wasn't sure what to make of it. Two ships, locked together...and only one seemed to have any real power. Hm. That must've been where the distress call came from. Well, time to announce her appearance.

"This is... Darius. Darius Dayne, captain of the Star Manta. I received a distress call and, considering the fact I burned fuel to arrive - exactly 201.96 gallons of fuel, actually - I will be landing first, then reporting to whoever sent said distress call." It was obviously a fair trade; no way would she be turned away without at least snooping.

Without waiting for a response, Dayne maneuvered her ship into the hangar, settling down next to another couple ships. Weird, she thought. I sincerely hope this isn't a trap. If it was, she would be very upset. She let out a sigh. Time to get out and see what all the fuss was about.

It didn't take her long to gather what she needed. The woman was an absolute neat freak, which meant everything was organized. Which also meant she had her gearing-up routine down pat. Two blasters, one rifle, all three loaded with three extra clips each, and two knives tucked away. Plus, as always, her signature armor. Which...probably needed an upgrade, honestly. But that was a thought for another day.

Today though, today was her day to help someone. Maybe.

Location: In a corridor aboard The No Return
Objective: Unleash Hell's judgement on the damned.
Secondary Objective: Save any who aren't damned

"Fierfeck'la Osik!" I swore openly. Well at the very least now I had an idea of what we'd be dealing with, some ridiculous sciencey type bent on domination. The analysis of the blood and atmosphere came back as a known bio-agent. "Fear toxin" Only thing was that at high enough dosages it ravaged the mind and turned those afflicted into mindless savages. "Reavers" Gods how I hated dealing with this crap. At the very least now I'd be able to reverse engineer the gas into something usable. Doors opened in the corridors, releasing savage reavers that fortunately weren't the fastest yet. Sword already out I moved a full step forward and flicking my sword to the right decapitated one then dropped to a knee as I cut anothers' legs from under it. Inverting my grip on my sword I stabbed into the things head. In my experience things tended not to get up after severing the head or putting a blade through their skulls. More came and they were getting faster....Priming a grenade I tossed it, misting acid mid-air into four of them. Screeches sounded until the acid silenced them, I reached for the scattergun on my left hip and smoothly racked it as I brought it up under a reaver's chin.

Pulling the trigger I misted brain matter and skull fragments painting the bulkhead in a red splash. Glancing down the hall I saw more doors opening....Moving methodically I racked another round in the scattergun and shot a crawling reaver through the top of the skull. The kinetic force smashing what remained of its skull against the metal deck plating, a door was opening and I heard the shriek of what was inside as I ejected the talons from my right gauntlet. The sharpened metal blades hooked up through the skull like fangs and I jerked my gauntlet. Taking a brief moment I paused and engaged my helmets' sound system I needed music to work with....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nW-IPrzM1g&index=14&list=RDuttlRqHpvNs
Least I'd have new tech to use after this was all said and done....I'd want the footage from the ship security before I left. At the very least The Donna would be able to see what had happened, plus I wanted there to be zero evidence I'd been here... For now I continued through the corridor and racked another round into my scattergun....

C-02 heard the voice. As soon as the lights had come on, the disguised droid went straight into alert mode. It drew a blaster from a holster, spinning it in hand and aiming around. Then, prisoners began to move. Especially one who should have been dead, firing on the droid. C-02 spun out of the way on his heel, took aim and returning fire. Controlled bursts, focusing the fire and holding the blaster tight with each shot. The droid had fighting programming with blasters, which came in handy here.

There was something said about Engineering, but C-02 for the moment was focused to the fighting. Another joined them yet neither they were barely noticed while the droid began using it's other arm to swing around it's disguised metal arm, smashing into them with punches and sweeps. Hitting enemies down, only for them to get back up.

The reapers around the two of them had fallen. The Ladies pressed onward through the ship encountering heavy resistance the closer they got to the engineering bay and the fear reaper. He hadn't expected the two to be any good or immune to his fear toxins. This was usual however he would sort it as he went out hunting them with his more intelligent reapers. They began using tactics attempting to corner the small group of four or even surprise strike them. These would be tactics that wouldn't have been expected due to the main lot of reapers the group was running into.

The spirit was still moving following the force users it could sense. It was hell bent on removing any force users much like it's cousins and it was getting slowly closer to them. The two would eventually be force to face it as it's screams could be getting closer and closer every second to the small group moving through the prison ship.

No Return - @C-02 l @Al-Saher l @Dayne Inck'ha

The fear toxin in the air was enough for Al Saher to obtain a sample. Not a large one but a sample none the less. He also grabbed it from the blood of the dead crew member which gave him a bigger but more unstable sample. It would last but testing on it could change it or destroy it. The best bet would be to get to the other ship for the canister that the fear toxin had come out of.

Four of the zombies were destroyed down to their cybernetics showing how the zombies were controlled as Al Saher destroyed them with an acid grenade. They didn't scream, how could they. These things no longer had nerve endings that worked. Which was why even though he blew the heads off two of them they continued coming. Another person came aboard the ship soon to see the destruction everywhere.

C0-2 beat several of them as the voice stopped eating speaking again. "Why'd ya have to kill terry, dave, curtis and louis they were my favourites if I had any. Oh and as you can see i control them all cybernetics. Blow them up, dismember them as long as they have a body part i can still use them. Also I see we have another friend, well then you won't mind if I start with the one I captured then. Excuse me while I get ready to do what is necessary and don't worry you can hear all of it." He laughed maniacally as the microphone sounded like it was moved.

The sound stopped as a muffled voice was heard again. "Well, well, well you ready for what comes next. A full upgrade. You become one of mine. You will learn to want that except you won't remember it anyway." Another laugh before the speakers went strangely silent.

C-02 snapped back the neck of one of the victims when the voice came through. The disguised droid looked around for where the intercom was coming from. "Well...well Dave I am sure was an idiot!" He dropped the body. "As was this guy...I think." Hearing the part about body parts, C-02 stomped on each limb to make sure it wouldn't move. The metal feet trying to crush bones to make them immobile. If it were ever possible for them to feel again, the droid held no empathy to them.

"That prisoner they have. They might be able to explain what happened...we should try to get to them" the droid said, carelessly stepping over bodies. But with power on, the controller could easily lock doors and such. That would be where C-02 was the key.

Bloody hell these were annoying, moving forward stardust found these creatures getting more and more smarter with their tactics...eyes squinted as she then grinned batting one off and stomping on it as she looked towards Jade

something is playing puppteer and these are it's puppets...I think if we take out the master all of these things will simply fall....or be easy to kill once again

Screams reached her ears, turning she looked towards where the spirit was coming from as she frowned...to narrow to fight in stardust had to keep the group moving forward

let's move with haste! Come on forward!

It seemed that Dayne had missed the beginning of this fine party, as evidenced by the bodies littering the floor and the lack of blaster fire. She let out a soft sigh. Maybe next time.

Shaking her masked head, she stepped forward towards the one stomping on the body parts ([member="C-02"]) as the voice above prattled on about a prisoner of some sort.

"Hey, you." Though the hitman's hand was on her blaster hilt, her entire body was relaxed. "Who are you?" Dayne looked around the hangar again, gesturing at the bodies on the ground. "And who are -- were -- these unlucky fellows? What's going on?" As long as she could shoot, she'd be happy - but she wanted to make sure she was shooting the right people, first.

As she waited for a response, Dayne took the opportunity to study this armored being. Based on the structure of the body and the armor, she had to wager this person was a human or humanoid. No horns, frills, tails, or extra limbs that she could see. Nor was she able to as-of-yet identify the armor with any particular group. Additionally, the ferocity with which they stomped on the corpses was...intriguing.

Yes, better to get as much information as she could before proceeding forward.

She shoved a plasma grenade into one of the creatures mouths before throwing it into a group and having it explode into a inferno before she regrouped with [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"] and listened to her explain the situation and that if they cut the head of the snake the creatures may fall.

Then lets go find the puppeteer and cut his strings...

Was all she said before she kept her battle senses sharp and her adrenaline pumped heftily
