Uh, Did You Hear That?

Evangeline yawned, and it was a long one at that. She blundered herself off the space transport in Altiria and into the spaceport, hopeful that she could find some form of coffee, stim, or really anything to give her a little more energy. Visiting her parents was always a draining event, mostly due to the never ending questions that her presence seemed to inspire.

But, she did love seeing them. But, she loved being back on Altiria and going back to the Tea Shoppe where her job was. That was her biggest focus in life - there really wasn't anything else going on in her little circle of the galaxy.

And that was fine, she assumed. She loved her job, her employer, and her place in the galaxy at the moment. She swiped a card that transferred some credits in exchange for the cup of Joe. A grateful exchange as she finally moved through security and found herself in the lobby of the large port - now, just time to wait for her taxi.

Riley shifted her weight from one foot to the other in an attempt to shake the restlessness from her body. Her black bodysuit stretching tightly with each movement under her armor. She had been standing around the spaceport for the better part of an hour while the nobleman she was guarding waited to meet with a recent contact. To be honest, she really shouldn't have been complaining. The credits were good and work was simple compared to most of her jobs.

Her black and green cybernetic eyes watched her employer through the visor of her helmet for a moment. Lord Alberac was a well kept man in his mid fifties. From his short cropped hair and beard that was more gray than black, to his well kept uniform bearing the crest of the merchant guild his family was a part of. His sharp blue eyes taking in every detail of the spaceport. He held an air of authority but lacked the arrogance of someone younger.

Riley turned her attention to the other two guards dressed in expensive armor sporting the Alberac colors and family crest. Unlike Riley, these two actually worked for the Alberac's, leaving Riley as the only outside hire. A request by Lord Alberac himself. Movement caught Riley's attention as they waited for the taxi.
