SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
  • Firing arc: The rotating segments allow for a virtually full 360° firing arc along the longitudinal axis of the ship. Because segments can rotate in tandem or individually, Udraitor can adjust the direction and arrangement of its weapons accordingly to the situation.
  • Can’t touch this: Udraitor is usually the biggest, baddest thing in any space battle – it arrives dressed up accordingly. With its multiple layers and types of shielding, the sprawling spaceship is a veritable juggernaut. Even should the hull be breached, the extensively segmented design makes it fairly easy to seal off the damaged section.
  • Packing heat: The command ship boasts an intimidating array of extreme-range armaments. Udaitor can barrage enemies from great distances while escort ships keep the foe from closing into its blind spots.
  • Dark side, best side: The heart of the ship – with its Sith meditation sphere and the Nairidira – is a powerful Dark side nexus, which inspires and fuels the Sith on Urdaitor and its surroundings. The Meditation sphere and Nairidira allow a Sith proficient in the art of Illusion to extend their reach even further, providing enough power to manifest specters so real as to cause actual harm.
  • Board-me-not: Apart from high-ranking Sith officers, the whole crew of the Urdaitor are sithspawn bound to the ship. In turn, the ship is built to be operated and maintained by these creatures, and not humanoids. The controls are alien or in some cases entirely absent, making it extremely difficult for anyone else to operate the vessel.
Weaknesses:
  • Lumbering hulk: The ship is massive and slow in every sense of the word. Outmaneuvering it is as easy as taking candy from a baby. It’s not built to outpace anything, except maybe a moon.
  • Easy target: Thanks to its impressive size and low maneuvering capabilities, Udraitor is an obvious sitting duck in any space theater.
  • Stay away: Udraitor woefully lacks short-range weaponry, relying on its escorts and fighters to keep the enemies at bay. In close quarters, the massive vessel can’t do much, and will thus try to maintain distance as long as possible.
  • Wimpy: The sithspawn crew of the Udraitor would put up a negligible fight facing any boarding forces. They weren't bred for combat, and are therefore physically limited in what they can do against enemy boarders. To make matters worse, the whole lot of them are blind.
DESCRIPTION

The Udraitor is a living, breathing testament to the power of the Dark side. With its jagged edges, burning Sith runes, and a Force signature about as subtle as a supernova, the command ship represents the unchallenged supremacy of the Purebloods as the one true descendants of the Force itself.

Thousands died to build this vessel. Thousands more were sacrificed, broken, and outright killed, all in the name of progress. Blood stains the very idea of the Udraitor – and violence begets violence. Death follows this ship on every turn, bringing purpose and destruction to the unruly and the weak. It stands against the void like the corroded skeleton of some massive, forgotten leviathan, its skeleton wrought into new shape by the ingenuity of Sith.

Runes carved with blood and fire mar its ribbed hull, symbols that roar terror into the stillness of space. All the lives given in offering to its bones, its flesh, its veins – they found no rest in the world beyond. Their energies, now twisted into darkness, serve to suffuse the Urdaitor in the Dark side; enough death to give birth to a vergence of the Force.

As if that weren’t enough, the ship is powered by no conventional means. Instead, it has a whole section dedicated to the nutrition cellshttps://spaciestaciebee.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/starkiller_clones.png in which the many victims of the Empire are subjected to Entechment. Bound to the Entechment rigs, the inferior humanoids are kept in a never-ending cycle of suspended animation, exploited for their life energy to provide for the Udraitor. Decks and sets of captives are rotated out regularly to prevent overuse, making for a virtually inexhaustible power source.

At the core of the colossal vessel, the Nairidira slumbers the sleep of the wicked, bound into the Grand Meditation Spherehttp://www.bobcheshire.co.uk/wp-content/gallery/guardians-of-the-galaxy/31.jpg. Where with most ships, the bridge will be the central nervous system, it is not so with Udraitor – its black heart beats where the Dark side is strongest. In the middle of the chamber, the Nairidira surges with power, ever-present. It is here that the Sith leading the vessel into battle would kneel in meditation, subsuming themselves in the Force and harnessing the energies coiled inside the Udraitor.

In their effort to create more than a terrifying command ship, but a true weapon of psychological warfare, the Sith endeavored even further. Yidhra Dottash and a small army of Kissai and scientists set upon creating the Zûtadasi, a strain of twisted sithspawn uniquely suited to operating and maintaining the vessels of the Resurgent Empire. This decision had of course impacted the internal design of the Udraitor, making it extremely unfriendly for any other creature. As a consequence, the ship is extremely difficult to board at best, as the intrepid party will find themselves at a loss on how to operate even the simplest systems.

That is, of course, if they somehow managed to survive the approach. The command ship boasts an impressive array of long-range weapons meant to demolish enemy vessels over great distances. Given its role in the space theater, the Udraitor is very rarely unaccompanied by smaller, nimbler escorts. This allows it to barrage foes while the rest of the fleet keeps them out of its short-range blind spots. The rotating sections make it nearly impossible to flank or attack an exposed belly – until the attacker gets close enough.

Its greatest weapon, however, is without a doubt the collective power of the Dark side coursing through the ship. With a competent Sith Sorcerer at its helm, bound to the Nairidira, the Udraitor can sow fear into the hearts and minds of any enemy. The illusions crafted in this nexus of the Force are palpable and real, capable of causing actual harm to their foes. Nightmares seep from every pore of this ship – it is terror incarnate, made to rend flesh and sanity alike.

This ship is sweet and I think it's a very cool idea.

I just have some tweaks to it.

I feel this ship is a little overpowered. If you want to keep your Defense and Armaments we can drop Speed and Maneuverability down to Very Low, and have Hangars High.

Could you add a weakness, maybe something along the lines with your last strength,
