OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Tyranitsaur
  • Designation: Semi-sentient
  • Origins: Ession, Bioengineering Alchemy Facility
  • Average Lifespan: Theoretically 200 Years
  • Estimated Population: Semi-Unique
  • Description:
  • The monstrous creature is an apocalyptic chimera of engineered biology and weaponized machinery. A grotesque fusion of Sithspawn-like alchemy and cybernetic augmentation, standing nearly four times the height of a Human. Its hulking quadrupedal frame resembles that of a predatory reptilian beast, with thick, scaly green hide covering its muscular limbs and a long, coiled tail that could easily be used as a bludgeoning weapon. Along its spine runs a jagged row of dorsal spikes, reinforcing the creature's innate ferocity, while the rest of its body is armored with brutalist, jet-black plating etched with arcane symbols and subtle mechanical components. A blasphemous blend of sorcery and science.

The beast's most immediately arresting feature is its enormous, blood-red wings, each veined with streaks of pulsing, bio-electrical energy and supported by massive, mechanical struts. These artificial enhancements allow the wings not only to propel it through the air but also to function as weapons in their own right. Able to generate destructive sonic waves or magnetic pulses. The wings span wider than most starfighter craft, with their translucent membrane webbing. A hybrid of flesh and energy shielding, while the mechanical supports mounted along their ridges appear capable of retracting or folding in tight environments.

Its head is a terrifying visage, part demonic and part saurian, with a massive maw bristling with uneven fangs, two tusk-like lower canines jutting forward like crude blades. Glowing red eyes beneath a plated brow. Sporting enhanced visual targeting systems and an interface with its master's will. Twin-mounted cannons are affixed to its shoulders. Integrated into the creature's spine. Making it capable of ranged devastation without relying on flight or brute force alone.

The limbs are reinforced with heavy cybernetic gauntlets and exo-plating. Its forearms house rotary claws. Ideal for rending armor, fortifications, or enemy combatants with brutal efficiency. Hydraulic pistons line the joints, enabling sudden bursts of speed or leaping power far beyond what its size would suggest. The creature is a bioweapon of war, a guardian beast, and a controlled Sithspawn construct created through advanced bioengineering, and Sith alchemy.

In essence, this creature is not merely a living being. It is a walking siege engine, a terror construct bred for domination, with enough raw power, intelligence, and mobility to wipe out small battalions or raze entire settlements. Its very design is a testament to the horrors that emerge when unnatural science is blended with the Force and mechanized warfare, creating something that should not exist, but now does.

  • Distinctions: Saurian in its typical form and stature. However, modified and amplified with technology to have wings, altered limbs head, and even a saddle for which it can be ridden upon.
  • Races: None
  • Force Sensitivity: Force Sensitive, All as they are Sith Spawn.
Strengths:
  • Colossal Strength & Durability - Can lift, smash, or tear through tanks, starship hull plating, or durasteel barricades. Its limbs, particularly the forearms, are reinforced with cybernetic gauntlets, granting it crushing power with claws, punches, or slams. Scaled hide and bio-armoring make it resistant to blaster fire, slugthrowers, and low-grade explosives. More over, many of its Cybenetics were reinforced using Tal'Beskar. A unique and perverted form of Beskar to be much stronger and more protective. Added along side some additons of Bloodsteel, and Bloodwrought Plating.
  • Integrated Weaponry - Dual Hexfire Lance Rotary Cannons, A mouth that acts as a housing for a "Scream Beam" Cannon. Vibro-Plasma Filament claws in the forelimbs for anti-vehicle/armor assault. Capable of engaging at both long range and melee, with seamless transitions between modes.
  • Enhanced Mobility - Despite its size, built-in hydraulic systems allow it to leap great distances, charge at high speed, or pivot in combat with unnatural agility. Tail acts as a bludgeoning and balancing tool, capable of sweeping large groups of enemies aside or anchoring the beast mid-combat.
  • Flight - Mechanical-augmented wings provide the ability to fly or perform powered glides from height.
  • Sith Alchemical Resilience - Enhanced with Dark Side-infused tissues, making it resistant to lightsabers, energy-based weapons, and Force powers such as telekinesis or stun. It is immune to most poisons, diseases, and mind-altering toxins unless specifically designed to bypass Sithspawn immunities.
  • Pain Suppression / Berserker Mode - The creature lacks a standard pain response and has ritually embedded command triggers that allow it to ignore physical damage for prolonged periods. When critically injured, it can enter a rage state, enhancing its speed and ferocity while lowering self-preservation instincts.
  • Regenerative Capabilities - Tissue grafts and alchemical biology grant it a limited healing factor. Slow but enough to regenerate minor injuries between engagements. May reknit skin, regrow lost spines, or even recover from blunt trauma.
  • Powered - As like any technology, it needs to be powered, and as such, housed within its chest cavity in place of a beating heart, is a Dark Core Reactor that powers its wings, weaponry, and technology systems that have been integrated onto the beast. This provides a extremely powerful generator to power the weaponry to last as long as its needed.
  • Semi-Sentient Intelligence - Capable of recognizing friend from foe, navigating complex terrain, and adapting to threats. It can understand commands given verbally, non-verbal or mental commands from its handler. However, it requires a connection to the ritual brand in order to do as such. Thus preventing other Unallied Sith or others from attempting to command the beast to do something it would otherwise not do. Yet it is sentient enough to operate autonomously or in a pack leader role with lesser spawn under its command. Sith alchemy allows the handler to activate control glyphs, forcing the creature into retreat, stasis, or even self-destruction if it risks being captured.
Weaknesses:
  • Psycho-Spiritual Instability - The creature's mind is a constant battleground of genetic instinct, cybernetic programming, and dark side corruption. Under extreme stress or exposure to conflicting Force auras (e.g., multiple Sith Masters), the creature may become confused, erratic, or turn on allies. Jedi or Light Side Force users may be able to briefly pacify or overwhelm its mind, forcing hesitation or disorientation.
  • Command Vulnerability - They are heavily reliant on dark side glyphs, bindings, or control amulets. If these are destroyed, disrupted, or severed (via Ion weapons, Force Sever, or Lightsaber strikes), the beast may, Go berserk and attack everything in sight, Freeze or shut down depending on design, or in some cases, become vulnerable to outside control or influence.
  • Ion/EMP Vulnerability - Its cybernetic wings, spinal cannons, and limb enhancements are susceptible to Ion blasters, EMP grenades, or pulse-disruptors. A well-placed EMP blast could: Cripple its flight capabilities, Disable its ranged weaponry, Cause motor dysfunction in its legs or tail, immobilizing it temporarily.
  • Maintenance Dependency - Requires routine maintenance and alchemical reinforcement to stay operational. If deployed for extended campaigns without support, it may suffer: Cybernetic decay (hydraulics freezing, circuits burning out), Flesh rejection (alchemical tissue rotting, limbs failing), Psychological breakdowns due to pain buildup or control glyph degradation.
  • Hyper-Metabolism - Its massive body burns through energy rapidly. If deprived of prey or power sources (especially in prolonged engagements), it weakens significantly. Extended combat without feeding, exposure to Force energy, or dark rituals can cause fatigue, slower regeneration, or even cellular collapse.
  • Alchemical Scar Tissue - While resistant to many forms of damage, its alchemical grafts scar poorly and are vulnerable to specific attacks, such as: Lightsabers targeting weak seams in its armor plates, sonic weapons exploiting soft tissue resonance, fire-based weaponry burning exposed under-layers beneath the cybernetics.
  • Vulnerability to the Light Side - As a creature born of Sith alchemy and the Dark Side, it is painfully sensitive to Light Side energy, especially: Force Light, which can burn away its corruption and weaken it, Battle Meditation from Jedi may cause fear or hesitation in its mental processes, Force Sever or Purge can disable its Force-related functions temporarily.
  • Dark Side Interference - When in the presence of multiple Sith Lords, the conflicting Force auras may interfere with the control glyphs, potentially causing: Rebellious behavior, Erratic targeting, or even self-destruction if spiritual balance is shattered.
  • Oversized Frame - Its massive size, while intimidating, makes it: A priority target in battle, slow to maneuver in tight urban or subterranean environments, Unable to fit inside most facilities or ships without extensive modification.
  • Tunnel Vision & Single-Target Focus - In combat, they often focus on the largest or most threatening opponent, which can be exploited by smaller, faster enemies attacking its flanks or critical cybernetic joints.
  • Slow Flight Takeoff - While capable of gliding or brief flight, the weight of the cybernetic wings and body requires a running start or elevation to achieve lift. Leaving it vulnerable during takeoff or landing phases.

CULTURE

  • Diet: Carnivore. The Tyrantisaur feeds primarily on large, living prey. Preferring Force-sensitive lifeforms due to their heightened vitality and connection to the Force. It can consume humanoids, beasts, and even partially mechanized enemies, as long as enough biological mass remains. They metabolize bone, flesh, and blood through an alchemically enhanced digestive system that extracts Dark Side energy. Dead flesh rapidly loses its potency, making it disinterested in carrion. The creature is violently allergic to bacta-based products and Force Light-infused matter, which can poison or burn its internal systems.
  • Communication: Primarily non-verbal. The Tyrantisaurs communicate through a series of deep guttural growls, subsonic pulses, body posture, and wing movement. Functioning similarly to pheromonal intimidation and primitive empathy. When under Sith control, it receives commands via Dark Side glyphs etched into its neural cortex, transmitted through Force-based telepathic resonance, or through a Sith alchemical control rod. It cannot speak but may emit distorted echoes or mimic screams to terrify prey. They can recognize vocal commands from their designated handler if conditioned properly.
  • Technology level: None independently. Tyrantisaurs are engineered constructs and do not create or use technology on their own. Their cybernetics and advanced weaponry are installed and maintained by Sith engineers and technomancers. Without Sith or Dark Side-aligned maintenance, these systems will degrade over time. The creature is entirely dependent on external infrastructure for its enhancements and long-term survival.
  • Religion/Beliefs: Tyrantisaurs do not possess traditional religion or beliefs. However, due to their partial sentience and Force sensitivity, they exhibit a near-worshipful bond to the Dark Side. They are drawn to strong Sith presences and sometimes exhibit behavior akin to submissive ritual, such as bowing or roaring in reverence. In rare instances, older or more powerful specimens have developed a primitive spiritual awareness, often fixating on places of Sith power (e.g., temples, tombs, battlefields) and refusing to leave them, even without command.
  • General behavior: The Tyrantisaurs is a solitary and highly aggressive apex predator, engineered for war and fear. It shows no parental instincts and no capacity for social bonding outside of Force conditioning. Mating does not occur. Reproduction is entirely artificial through cloning vats or alchemical regeneration chambers. While active, the Tyrantisaur operates on a seek-and-destroy behavioral loop. It patrols territory aggressively, often marking kills through ritualistic gore patterns or psychic resonance that warn away intruders. When not in combat, it enters a semi-dormant torpor, conserving energy in stasis chambers or dark environments. It is mostly nocturnal, preferring shadowed or underground spaces. Serrats are used primarily as living siege engines, temple guardians, or instruments of terror. When deployed in battle, they prioritize Force users and will often attempt to consume them if victorious. They do not attend schools or learn in a conventional sense but can be programmed with simple routines such as patrol paths, enemy recognition, or basic tactics. Though this knowledge can degrade over time or be overwritten by instinctual rage if left unchecked.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Tyranitsaur's creation was not arbitrary, but part of Delsin Shaw's long-term campaign to forge living tools of domination. Specifically, tools that could fill strategic gaps left by traditional Sithspawn and standard military operations. Where Storm Beasts were brute-force weapons and Leviathans functioned as apocalyptic monstrosities, the Tyranitsaur was crafted to bridge tactical versatility with awe-inducing presence. It was meant to be both an answer and a message: to obliterate Jedi, to trample symbols of resistance, and to serve as a visible embodiment of the Dark Side's power to defy nature and bend life itself to a master's will.

In the shadows of Ession, within an alchemical biosphere hidden beneath a volcanic basin, the first Tyranitsaur prototypes were constructed. Here, Sith alchemists, sorcerers, and technomancers under Shaw's orders grafted DNA sequences drawn from extinct predatory reptiles, Terentateks, and even Mythosaur bone marrow. Their musculature was then mutated with necrotic enzymes extracted from Metanecron husks—giving them unnatural strength and biological resilience. Their nervous systems were overlaid with a lattice of synthetic pathways, allowing direct interface with cybernetic systems and remote command glyphs. The wings, a feat of Sith technomantic engineering, were reverse-engineered from aerial Sithspawn and reinforced with energy-conductive filament structures built to endure both flight and sonic discharge.

Why build such a creature?

Because fear is a weapon, and fear that breathes, flies, and rends tanks in two is exponentially more effective than fear born of memory or threat alone. Shaw understands that dominion is not just about control. It's about spectacle. The Tyranitsaur isn't just built to kill. It's built to demoralize, to dominate psyches before blasters are even fired. Its presence on the battlefield is a force multiplier, capable of scattering enemy lines or reducing a siege to rubble in mere minutes. Unlike starships or walkers, it cannot be hacked, cannot be sliced, and cannot be reasoned with. And unlike droids, it can learn. Adapt. Hunt.

In battle, the Tyranitsaur functions as a multi-role terror platform, fulfilling various roles. One such as as an Aerial Interceptor. Its reinforced wings and reactor core allow it to take to the skies and swoop down on targets with impunity. It can intercept speeders, drop into Jedi formations, or bring down armored columns from above. Another is a Mobile Siege Unit. With claws capable of tearing through fortified walls and shoulder-mounted Hexfire rotary cannons for suppressive fire, the Tyranitsaur is ideal for cracking hardened enemy positions without needing artillery backup. it is also a Force-Eater Predator. The beast has a built-in preference for Force-sensitive prey, and its metabolization of Dark Side energy allows it to draw strength from its kills. Jedi struck down by it do more than die. They fuel it. Primarily it is a Mounted Beast of War. A reinforced saddle and neural-link control system allow a Sith Lord or dark-side warrior to ride it into battle like the Warlords of old. This is not mere flair; doing so allows direct mental input, bypassing the need for glyph commands and enabling precision targeting through sheer will. Secondarily it can act as a Temple Guardian or an Apex Enforcer. In static roles, it serves as a living fortress. Placed in temples, research labs, or planetary command nodes, it acts as both deterrent and executioner to any intruders. Its passive psychic presence alone induces fear and hallucinations in the weak-minded.

Delsin Shaw is not a Sith content with maintaining power through shadows alone. He is a theological engineer of the Dark Side. A man who believes the universe should see and fear what the Dark Side can do. The Tyranitsaur is his manifesto in flesh, his philosophical argument expressed through tooth, talon, and flame. Unlike older Sithspawn, which were often uncontrollable or wildly impractical, the Tyranitsaur is scalably efficient: it can be deployed solo, in pairs, or as a limited brood of apex weapons, each linked to a central alchemical relay maintained by Nyx Geneaova's blacksite research cells.

Using the front of Nyx Geneaova allows Shaw to bypass scrutiny from planetary authorities and Sith rivals alike. Officially, the company is developing agricultural gene-therapies, alchemical enzyme treatments, and armored exo-beast research for harsh planetary mining. In reality, these projects serve as veils for the bio-sorcerous abominations being perfected below the surface. The goal is strategic superiority without the drawbacks of mass production. A beast that can raze Jedi temples, serve as shock trooper transport, and make planetary populations submit without a single broadcasted threat.

Moreover, the Tyranitsaur is part of Shaw's vision of Sith evolution. He views the Jedi not merely as ideological rivals, but as stagnant relics clinging to organic tradition. By creating beings that embody Sith might fused with technological transcendence, he hopes to redefine what it means to be "powerful." In this way, the Tyranitsaur isn't just a creature. It is a heretical icon, made to serve as a dark messianic beast, whose mere existence invalidates the natural order and exalts the supremacy of Sith creationism.

In conclusion, the Tyranitsaur is the screaming embodiment of Dark Side apotheosis. It is nightmare made flesh, tailored to embody the Sith doctrine of conquest through domination, terror, and unnatural evolution. For Delsin Shaw, it is not merely a beast of war. It is a banner, a sermon, and a plague, unleashed in tooth and flame to remind the galaxy what happens when mortals play god with darkness.
