The Mancheron Type 92 Rugrut Sniper Rifle is the second product within the Mancheron Type 92 Line. Seeing the success of the Type 92 Zugor Lightning Rifle within the test markets and with actual customers on the battlefield lead to the development of a powerful sniper rifle that came equipped with a silencer. Doctor Thomas Rugrut was put in charge of development instead of Doctor Igor Zugor who was demoted to the Mancheron Type 82 Line of Products. Rugrut first developed the idea from looking over other sniper rifles within the galaxy and came up with the idea of a high powered sniper rifle that could deal damage from a long range. Working day in and day out with his team of weapon developers lead to the creation of the "Rugrut Sniper Rifle" officially licenced for purchase by the Mancheron Association of Manufacturing and Commerce's Heavy Weapons Division.
The Sniper Rifle has a few side effects such as having higher recoil than other sniper rifles, lower rate of firing than most models and very little ammunition capacity. However those downsides are considered worth it for the high damage that the sniper can output and the extremely long range at which it can hit targets from. The dallorian alloy frame prevents it from getting overheated so that the user can carry on firing it with the right ammunition on hand. It has the ability to switch from slug rounds to blaster cells within 4 minutes.
