- Sonic Discharge: The gauntlet's fingertips are capable of sending out powerful sonic shockwaves. These shockwaves are capable of shattering glass, disrupting systems, and stunning organic enemies.
- ION Pulse: The fingertips to this gauntlet have miniature ION emitters, which are capable of dispersing Ionic waves that can disrupt/disable electronic systems within a close proximity to the emitters. This ION pulse can be focused into a singular beam, which can disable weaker deflector shields.
- Hacking Capability: Along with special weaponry, this gauntlet comes with a datapad that has a hacking kit installed into it. The simple program allows even the most basic of users hack into less complicated systems. The center knuckle to the gauntlet even has a faux code cylinder to help the user hack into terminals.
- Projectile Saberart: In reality the most lethal weapon this gauntlet has is a small dart-holder on the inner part of the arm. The default dart with this weapon is one that injects the enemy with Devaronian Blood Poison.
- Phrik Blade: The bottom of the gauntlet is outfitted with a metallic blade, capable of withstanding the blade of a lightsaber. Although this blade is only 7 inches in length, it is still a useful weapon in a tight spot.
- Reinforced Armor: The Gauntlet is coated in a thin coating of Phrik. This metal is exceptionally light and extremely durable. It is capable of resisting blows from a vibroblade and even a lightsaber. This makes the gauntlet a capable shield for a time, although continued damage will end in the gauntlet's systems being harmed.
- ION Defended: The complex circuitry and redundant Isotope-5 power cells make this gauntlet extremely difficult to disable. It would take a considerable ION attack to disable the gauntlet's systems, however sustained ION/EMP strikes can gradually tamper with the systems.
- Multi-purpose: There are a number of different systems and programs stuffed into the gauntlet. Along with being a datapad, comm device, signal jammer, and more it is also a wonderful weapon to be used in close quarters combat.
- Signal Output: Because of the numerous systems utilized in this weapon, the gauntlet is always putting out a small, yet noticeable electromagnetic signal that can be used to track the wearer over large distances.
- Isotope-5 Cells: To power the extreme power requirements of this gauntlet, it utilizes isotopoe-5 power cells. These cells are refined and are not in danger of explosion unless they come under sustained assault, in which case they will be ejected, rendering the gauntlet powerless.
The Type 15 is an advanced command Gauntlet, intended for in-field commanders and agents. The gauntlet comes with a myriad of basic functions such as Comm device, signal jammer, MFTAS, range-finder, bioscanner, holomap, holocomm, holonet uplink, vehicle slave circuit, and more. The advanced feature on the gauntlet require it to be powered by refined Isotope-5 cells. To keep them well protected, the gauntlet is formed from a durasteel mesh with a reinforced phrik plate.
