PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

How does your character act? How do they think? Do they have any deeply held beliefs or phobias?

Tykhe is in it for the front lines, for the men and women who serve, for the exhiliartion of nearly being killed, of testing yourself against other warriors in the ultimate contest. All of which means nothing if a warrior isn't serving a higher cause whilst doing so. The glory is on the battlefield. The honour though the honour is in the service, of being a part of something greater than yourself, of applying your skills to a duty. Tykhe joined up because his home planet lacked excitement. Looking for adventure instead he found something greater.

That's his duty.

Recently however Tykhe has been wondering if there's even something more beyond that, a life beyond just war. The service he's experienced as part of the Auxiliary Unit has pushed him to the fore front of the spotlight. He's become not just a hero on the battlefield but a public hero has well. The man who can fight Sith and other Force Users with skill and technology. All of it the suit, the uniform, the bright and frankly somewhat garish colours. All of it has him wondering that maybe there's something to this, that maybe just maybe he can serve in other ways beyond just killing.

In his private time Tykhe enjoys book clubs, yoga classes, art classes, dance classes, film aficionado clubs, in terms of sports he keeps an eye on the arenas as much to study and learn as out of enjoyment or appreciation of skill.

Tykhe has surprisingly found himself enjoying the discussions that rich elite who he attends fundraising causes for. The politics at play but also the social occasions themselves. He was surprised to learn that he and his siblings had been selected for the unit not only for the martial abilities but also that they had demonstrated hi EQ as well. Apparently some Wookiees and Feeorin had also been in consideration, as well as people known as Valkyrie.

STRENGTHS

Strength- As a Ragithian he has considerable strength enough to flip over landspeeders for cover.

Combat- Tykhe and his siblings joined up to get away from life on a boring planet. They found instead they were quite suited to it. Comfortable with a variety of weapons, piloting and martial arts, as well as there not inconsiderable armour.

Intelligent- Tykhe like all his siblings is highly intelligent and uses this intelligence to the best of his abilities.

WEAKNESSES

Hubris- Having come to national attention for defeating a Sith Acolyte in personal combat, Tykhe has began to believe his own hype. He looks forward to the day he might test his skill against a real Sith or Mando Force User.

Dependent- While he likes to think of himself as a living weapon, the truth is Tykhe and the other Auxiliaries are dependent on their equipment to maintain their status of going toe to toe with Force Users. Without them they are merely stronger humans.

Snap Judgements- Tykhe trusts his judgement instantly to a flawed degree, as soon as he makes a decision he goes for it full speed ahead, until he is forced to be corrected.

HISTORY

Tykhe and his friends were born on Ragith III and given up for adoption. They were raised by an Arkanian scientist Augustus who wanted to study the genetic effects of Ragithians and had a penchant for the classics. The scientist decided to name them after concepts he thought poignant Tykhe for Fortune, Spiritos for Spirit, Nike for Victory and Solace for the obvious.

The Augustus scientist insisted on a classical education in all things, for a time the only martial art they were allowed to learn was fencing, until one of them made a persuasive argument during a debate that marksmenship was also often hailed as an elite sport, as was hunting and various martial arts. As in most every society and culture in the galaxy warriors were held in high esteem by the nobility, quite often that was how they had come to be nobles in the first place. So long as said martial arts was also applied to rigorous discipline as well as a sense of chivalry and honour.

Augustus was impressed by the debate, as well as the submission of four essays on the subject each with meticulous referencing. It had never occurred to him that his childrens obsessions with martial culture might yield results in an applied debate.

So Augustus brought in experts, sensei's knights, warriors, bounty hunters and soldiers to teach his children, though he could naturally see where this was heading and his hope for a family of academics like himself was swiftly falling apart. Later when Tykhe asked why he allowed it. Augustus replied.

"I learned a harsh lesson the day of the debate. One cannot choose your children's path for them."

So when the time came the siblings signed up with their fathers blessing.

Tykhe served, he fought, he killed, he loved it. The units he was assigned to loved him too, they loved having a heavy weapons specialist with a brain, as well as his natural abilities, he rose through the ranks, applying both sets of skills as best he could. Rising to the rank of Major

One day an officer approached him a colonel offering to bring him and his siblings together again in the same unit. So far the military had a policy of not sending family in the same unit in case of mass casualties. A biproduct from when regiments were raised from the same townships.

Tykhe leapt at the chance as did his fellow siblings. They were sent to Denon to be trained.

The Auxiliary Unit was a success, Tykhe and his siblings tore through the training process, adapted to the new Cataphract suits like second skins the new Elpis starfighters like ducks to water.

They were deployed. In the first battle Tykhe killed a Sith Acolyte in personal combat. It was caught on film and blew up on the holonet. Tykhe was immediately pressed into service as a public facing hero as was the Auxiliary Unit as a whole.

Tykhe has been enjoying his new found fame, and wonders what's next.
