It wasn't often she got to share her favorite past time. Tree-surfing was...a unique experience for Jonyna, a meditative process she would often use as a way to relax. Teaching it however, was always a process. A process that a padawan, a wookie, had asked her. She thanked her lucky stars that she had taken the effort to learn Shyriiwook the last few years. Admittedly, it wasn't all that different from Catharese, but it was still a struggle at times.

Standing on the landing platform of Ran Don Kuun, Jonyna waited for the padawan's arrival.

Kuhbee was so excited! When he heard that there was a Jedi Master who actually knew how to surf on trees he felt he HAD to meet her. The Wookies lived among the trees and were guardians of the forest and he felt this was a skill he could certainly take back to his tribe if he ever made it back there.

He was also excited to travel to a new place. It was lush and beautiful and the youngling found himself in awe of it.

Jonyna smiled as the padawan made landfall, offering him a nod. [Welcome to Cathar, Kuhbee. You're in luck, the spring rains just finished up, and the branches are slick. How much experience climbing trees do you have?]

It was a silly question to ask a Wookie, but she had to regardless for what came next. The way Cathar moved through the trees, it started as climbing, and evolved from there.
